I like your ideas about the Teravail tires. I noticed the industry is giving less options for 27.5 plus tires. I will probably eventually have to downsize to standard 27.5 with a tire insert. I like the smaller wheels for maneuverability and my riding style. I tried Cushcore before but they were heavy in the plus size for just the rear. I’m not running any tire insert now. [By the way you should try the Backbone trail off Newton Canyon in the Santa Monica Mtns. There are some beautiful views and flow trails too]

@@mikej1348 completely agree with smaller 27.5 wheels are better for tight turns and better traction on loose surfaces. Especially 2.8 or 3” tires. I’ll be looking at exploring more trails in 2025 stay tuned

@ thanks, I’ve ride Cheseboro and some of those other trails around there at had tacos at Chuy’s afterwards. Lots of fun trails out there. If I recall correctly we rode all the way back to the “Sheep corral” and found some back country trails in those mountains that were pretty nice.

@@hardmtnbiker You can go up Palo Comodo and ride around China Flat. Then come down and ride out of Chesebro.
