I always feel like there’s a lot of people out there that listen to stuff like this on KZbin. And think the way I do. But then I go on Instagram and am reminded of how conditioned the majority is. It honestly makes it hard for me to relate to ppl anymore. People just want to be rich or take pretty selfies or get drunk. Yet here I am listening to McKenna trying to find deeper answers to this existence. Hard for me to just mindlessly go thru life. But it does depress me how conditioned & controlled everyone is. Makes me hopeless for the future bc I think the aware are outnumbered by the unaware by A LOT. Anyways, much love to the people in this comment section. Wish I could be friends w y’all in real life so we could have dope conversations & ppl wouldn’t think I’m crazy lol

and that dimension needs to stay in that dimensions, their rules do not work in ours. Look around, they have already piggy backed their way into our paradigm through people going there 'illegally'. THEY want to know who you are and why you are there, and if they are curious, who is to say they cannot attach themselves spiritually. Look at our world, this is what has happened.

Psychedelics open the 3d eye pineal gland to the demonic realm Beware! Terence was threatened by a demon on a trip to be locked up for eternity. He also was cursed with a tumor shaped exactly like a mushroom on his brain from Wich he died unfortunately. There's a vidio of a man with a hat on in my proefile he explains it exactly. Jesus died for our sins we must believe turn from sins repent and get baptised to enter paradise instead of hell for rebellion. Please read bible book Luke on how to be saved. Once we obey Jesus teachings great peace and joy commes as he fills the void nothing on earth could fill

Terence McKenna was and is a guide for many of us. I trust him and his enthusiastic exploration of what it means to be alive in the conscious cosmos. I'm so often, after listening to Terence late at night after my toddler and wife have fallen asleep, left feeling more willing to continue to live with vigorous curiosity and to attend to my inner world with care and wonder. This man was a sledgehammer that did major damage in the mainframe panels of standard modern-man circuitry. It's always seemed that living the half-true, half-felt and unexperienced version of a human life simply did not appeal to Terence, and for many of us, encountering the 'this is true for me and I love it' energy that oozes from these talks is largely what we're drawn to. Enthusiasm for the vivid and immersive investigation of the purpose of human life, so that we can be in service to all of our relations. Terence was a model of love-in-action, and love filled service.

The jester is the story teller. Wise enough to play the fool.
@maciej.ratajczak
@maciej.ratajczak 3 жыл бұрын
Shakespeare's Twelfth Night is an atypical romantic comedy, the jester is not the only fool who is subject to foolery, many other characters are subject to foolery by their silly acts as well. There are two types of fool in the play, namely Feste the professional jester who is in fact quite intelligent, and the non-jester fools, who are not fools but act like fools. Although Feste does not make any profound remarks, he seems to be the wisest person among all the characters in the comedy. Viola remarks this by saying "This fellow's wise enough to play the fool".

The bit about translation being false and language failing to describe certain kinds of understanding makes a lot of sense. During my first and strongest LSD trip I remember having what I believe was an ego death and I almost completely lost language, I just lied down staring into oblivion with the biggest smile on my face like a newborn baby but at the same time I felt I was understanding something so profound yet so simple and obvious, and the concept of language seemed like such a shitty ineffective method of communication because so much gets left out. If we could just communicate our feelings and understanding telepathically somehow, that would be true communication, and that was one of the things I understood.

The conscious experience is everything.. And I think that this is something that you will realize on psychedelics if you ever decide to try them or if you already have. The way we speak; the way music grooves; the way we perceive colors; these things all change our perception of time and space dramatically. Clocks and rulers are less 'real' than direct experience, in a very real kinda way.

My friend and I describe the current Internet as an aggressor. Some golem squatting on my desk whispering enticing and courrpting things. Aside from the whole of social media algorithms themselves have destroyed exploring the web. You won't often stumble upon interesting or things outside your wheel house or against your own views. It seems engineered at this point to be as upsetting as possible.

It's so crazy to hear Terence talk about people succumbing to ideology now that we live in the age of the woke. It's also great to hear him call himself an anarchist. I wish he was here to see how right he was. Hang in there everyone. Things are going to get worse before they get better, but things will get better.

How do you mean that? Terence would totally be LGBTQ supporting and wasn't a racist bigot, so he would've used polite language like preferred pronouns. He was also against the war on drugs and the use of police powers, so he would've likely sympathized with BLM. I think he would've seen the cambridge analytica mess and the trump bs for what it was; a propaganda campaign conducted by the wealthy (including a certain wealthy, thieving russian) to control the planet. Maybe you should listen to more of his lectures? Listen, I understand. When a person is really invested in an ideology, every little thing someone they like says gets cherry picked so that what is said gets rearranged to the point of absurdity. That person then decides the speaker is supporting the same ideas and is "on their side". It's like when that fat turd rush limbaugh proclaimed that LOTR was clearly about the good right wing against the orcs of the left. Tolkien was an environmentalist minded anti-fascist who would've lost his mind over that obvious lie. The orcs, etc destroyed the forests for the greedy war machine of the "one who would rule them all" right wing fascist. But rush knew his audience was just looking for a scrap to hold on to, and weren't smart enough to actually analyze the whole picture. I think that's what you are doing here, unless you're a paid jerk trying to lead others astray. If so, I hope what I've written here serves as a guide or a "push back" to thwart you. Hope you figure it out.

@@feedermonkey7233 I've heard all of his lectures multiple times and read all of his books. Maybe you should take some mushrooms. It sounds like your entire worldview is formed by propaganda. Ideology is a trap that causes people to stop thinking for themselves. Be wary of anyone who tells you how or what you have to think.

The bit at the end speaking on VR is truly beautiful from the eyes of a forward thinking man In terms of how it gives us more of a sense of individuality and the possibility of being able to explore each other’s minds but it scares me now that huge corporations are creating the VR worlds for us to be able to create within there guidelines , VR should be nothing more than what Terence has made obvious in his teaching which is nothing less than the freedom of being you and creating the culture you want to live in.

Unbelievable. What he is saying is absolutely what is going on. Our reality is merging into linguistic hyperspace and computer languages are becoming our primary mode of communication. I can see the importance of VR and AR and how it's going to be about fully connecting in with each other, English not necessary, across the globe while minimizing our geological footprint. What a mind opening talk. One of my favs of his. We've got some work to do people. Because the dismal realities are just as prescient.

Sometimes, men know not who they are. I have never listened to this speaker before, until the last 3 days. I've never heard so much, from just one man, who was SO on the button. I'm not even sure, despite his formidable intellect or almost prescient faculty of observation, if he even knew quite himself the depth of his insight and 'connectivity' to the ALL. Like the greatest musicians of our time will tell you " I don't know where that came from., I'm just sort of plugging into that music that flows through all of life "

"An open mind is a very precious thing and it should never be given away-perhaps ever-certainly never lightly. The truth can take care of itself. It does not require your belief. The truth need not be treated as fragile. You can beat on the truth with ball-peen hammers and it will do just fine, thank you. So one should be respectful in the presence of truth, but not cowed or awed or something like that; the truth wants to be appreciated-it wants to be known-it can take care of itself. Belief is toxic. ALL belief. Don't believe in anything. Live in the presence of the felt fact of immediate experience; everything beyond that is conjecture. In contemporary society we're always in the past and in the future, but what is real is feelings; and feelings attain a nexus only in the moment. So explore the edges, keep your logical razors sharp, trust nothing that you haven't verified for yourself, and my faith is that the universe will take you in and share with you its meaning and its intent and its conclusion." Loved this quote.

Do you ever ask yourself for permission to do anything ? You don't ask the universe for anything, you accept exactly what it is that you want , you attract it to you by deciding that you are the universe and you are God , we have been given that power there is no outside source we are magical beings made by a magical force that wants us to own our power , visualize what u want practice feeling the emotions you would feel once you have it , practice showing gratitude , feel worryless as sure as you already are that the sun will rise in the morning you should be that anything you desire is already yours and is coming to you , then letting go of the desire to have something is the key 🔑 you no longer want what u already have . Be dillusional and you will achieve everything , beleve that everything u dream of is easily achievable , have conversations with yourself about the things you want for example if you want to manifest a new job have a conversation out loud with yourself pretending it's with someone else about your new job and how you're so happy telling them all the details about the situation shortly after that you will really be having that conversation with that person telling them about that job that you did get it's magic !!
