I’m 22 and have been listening to McKenna since I was 15. His words have shown me the significance of life and all that it has to offer. I greatly appreciate these uploads and can only hope you continue with the content.

It is a gift to hear his voice in the moment. Thank you for your curation of these conversations with Terence. After seven decades of traveling through time, observing and experiencing this life I treasure the opportunity to revisit his lectures and the questions discussed afterward. “Nothing is understood until it is remembered.” TM

i wonder the same: do you suppose AGI could be the mythical philosopher's stone - i kind of do, ok so say it is say it could be commanded to give us whatever we could imagine, the ultimate tool and friend: what then, what should we do with such a tool, and what does it mean to our personal experience of consciousness and search for ultimate truth... its amazing how much time we spend thinking of the things that could be while we lay in a pool of ignorance of what is - i hope the psychedelic community can use these tools, ai, llm's, drawing engines to shape and inspire a more compassionate world through art and a reinvigorated creative process that excites the masses - i don't know how this discussion would go with TM, but i know if he was around he would be using and probing all these available and burgeoning systems to build up a personal viewpoint of what the future holds, and what can be done now - that's the way of the shaman try it yourself, be curious, and take your personal experience as most significant :-)

I'm wondering if anyone else has considered the idea that the 2012 tool/event/thing he speaks to turned out to be the Smartphone? By the end of 2012 over 50 percent of the US population owned one. Seems like that was the year Smartphones reached "critical mass" and there was no going back. 2012📱🤔

I don’t think he was off the mark. I think a big change happened in 2012. Something ended and something started. Mayan calendar agrees. It’s just that the metamorphosis started then with a big cosmic download of information. We’ll see.

Still no ground to dismiss all said alternate explanations in religion or culture where may be one of them could be right. In one's own sinister type, rebellious approach to our immediate known realities, one could go against all said conventional wisdoms and knowledges about the universe and the role of our existence in it, but still could be no less wrong than that which we repeal from in an attempt to seek our own alternate explanation that we hope it would satisfy our inept curiosity about the unknown. In any case, in any endeavor, the saddest closure is to die with fundamental questions about ourselves being unanswered! And again, who knows what is beyond the death. Perhaps, our conscious within our tiny brain, confined within boney skull, may be liberated and come part of infinite wisdom and vast knowledge of the universe where we do not need conventional schooling to learn, but immerse in it all. Still, who knows! Thank you for sharing!

It's a shame you're so afraid of people with such superior intelligence, superior education and insight that you feel the need to crap all over them. Lots of people like you. To make such an "ignorant" comment, I assume you've listened to practically nothing of McKenna, assume that your reading material is pretty much limited to comic books, and further assume that whatever you have to offer is about on that intellectual level. Not at all surprising that it sounds like "word salad" to you.
