Really like it hasn’t failed starting any car only downside as a tow truck driver it’s pretty heavy carrying around

Best informative video I’ve seen on one of these. It would’ve most likely ran on the 2nd try if the clamp was on the negative lead terminal. Over the years I’ve found trying to jump off a metal chassis ground yields some struggles compared to a direct connection with the battery cables. Not recommended I know, but it makes starting much easier for the jumper and vehicle. I’ve bought the Viking 3400 12/24V jumper with Harbor Freight’s 25% off coupon two days ago. Knocked $82 off the price. Used it to power our 15K capacity dump trailer with a completely dead battery. Did so with ease!

That's awesome! I was going to buy that one, but I settled for this one. I will eventually buy it. Thanks for sharing and watching my content.

@@TerenceDIY No problem, keep up the good work! If you ever get the Viking 3400 I hope you do a video on it. There’s not much info or videos on it at the moment despite being released almost a year and a half ago.

@TerenceDIY Just bought this exact model July 8, 2024. Don't know much about these machines but I fully charged it and when I press the test button the voltage is saying 12.8. Is that okay?
@TerenceDIY3 ай бұрын
That is fine but it should say FULL. How long did you charge it?
@clbo98783 ай бұрын
@TerenceDIY I charged it until it read full. I pressed the test button and it said 13.2 volts. Shortly afterwards it started reading 12.8 volts still saying full. Again, just want to make sure I don't have a defective product. Do you think everything's okay with it?

Yep, you're fine.

Had to skip down a ways to check out the battery jumper. That is the primary feature. The tire inflator is the secondary feature. Always do the primary feature first. The minor features like the USB, lights etc; I was expecting them to be on the end of the video.

Great video just subscribed What is the maximum dc to ac inverter I can put on this? I found a similar one to yours on ebay
@TerenceDIY Жыл бұрын
First and foremost, thank you so much for subscribing and watching my content. I have a 3000 watt dc to ac inverter and I don't think it will run it. Maybe 1500 to 2000 watts inverter?

Can you turn the compressor on before you hook it up to the tire? My harbor freight has on “as is” but I couldn’t tell if the compressor worked or not
@TerenceDIY Жыл бұрын
Hi Jeremy, yes, you can turn the compressor on without it being attached to a tire. First step: hold the test/air button for 3-5 seconds until you see the -C- (make sure the switch on the back is off), Secondly: turn the switch on the back on and the compressor should work and the LED display will light up blue. Thanks for watching.

@@TerenceDIY thank you for your response. That must have been the issue with that jump box. I got to the selection for psi but the power wouldn’t switch on with the power button. Thanks you just saved me $110

Yes however, I would not. I would charge it every few months if it's not in use. I haven't used mines in months and I checked it last week and it was still at 100 percent.
