I wonder if the red smoke coming in is because the player diverted the smoke at the end of ch 3. The space isn't full of it, so it'd be interesting if we're being shown the moment the red smoke starts to infiltrate the trash zone, and the nightmare-sheep alerting to its presence. I posit we'll be moving thru the lower lab level, diverting smoke as we go, possibly using it to temporarily knock out rooms with feral starving nightmare critters, then shifting it out so we can go in and move past the unconscious enemy (since we now no longer have our gas mask). It'll add a cool element of using something just as toxic to us as to what's standing in our way as a weapon we have to avoid while we wield it

I think the new smiling critter might imply that a lot of failed experiments might be kept in the prison. We know the smiling critters were a flop after the CatNap controversy, and we also know Bigger Bodies would sometimes be made before a toy version was ever conceived, such as Mommy Longlegs. The sheep could have been a prototype (no pun intended) Wave 2 Smiling Critter that was never fully realized. That might also be why Boxy Boo might still be down there, it’s where the experiments that didn’t have a clear functionality were kept (Assuming Boxy wasn’t literally just an assassin)

I agree with his part in the video about the shape hinting that the main antagonist for chapter 4 is gonna be boxy boo. That pattern of yellow, blue and red is just the same as boxy boos. And think about it, the inside of the shape is yellow representing boxy boos star In the center of his body, then going to a little bit bigger blue with his actual box, then going to red which is his arms, legs and head. To add on more to this theory, these “depths” could be the place that the bigger body bron was attacked by boxy boo hinting even more that this is where boxy boo is in the factory and he will be the next major villain.

I agree that Playtime Co may have been preparing to make living toys to sell commercially, that’s been a theory since chapter 1. But this also makes the year 1995 more significant, since that’s when Toy Story came out. Maybe the idea of living toys being bought and sold is what finally set off the Hour of Joy. Or maybe the tag is just to tie the Smiling Critters closer to their real life plushies, which also have tags in that location.

Dog day did said he was the last one of the smiling critters to live and survive, but I still have a feeling that two more might still be around. When we read the cardboard cutout in chapter 3, only two of them did not scream in a jump scare. PickyPiggy and Bobby Bearhug could still be alive down there if we’re lucky because we didn’t hear them scream but that could just be a little theory of mine. I’m so excited for it.

It would be such a plot twist for it to turn out that The Prototype to somehow turn out to be an ally. Something like.. and hear me out...let's say hypothetically The prototype is Ludwig and he knows how much damage he has caused (because I genuinely believe that Ludwig had good intentions with preserving life and after he "died", his crew turned his work into something it absolutely had no business being and this neglect is what led to the hour of joy) and now he just wants the characters dead but by OUR hands so they agony will stop but more blood not be on his hands but that excludes - IF Ludwig is The Prototype - why he assimilates the characters into himself for more power...which kind of ruins my whole theory because why have all that power with no one to hold it over if all the characters have died and become part of him? I really doubt The Prototype is going to live down in the ruins all by its lonesome...

I actually just came from the newest video and i still kind of think that we're hallucinating the toys. I think the toys are all of the bodies of the people, except the bigger bodies, and thats why theres piles of them down below. Obviously the biger bodies are children turned into toys so they would want to keep all the children safe, so i think that they took all the children somewhere else in the factory to keep them safe. But of course they would run out of food and stuff so either they turned all of the people and children and everything into toys, or the children are still alive as people and have been feeding off dead bodies. Idk, cause it kindof makes more sense that they're toys, but we could also be hallucinating, and the only skeleton we've seen in the game so far i think is the one on catnaps alter for 1006. I just find it weird we haven't seen any bodies at all the whole game. Maybe we aren't hallucinating because the red gas but we're hallucinating to keep ourselves sane, but the whole time, every toy we saw in the game were actually the bodies of dead people.

4:02 so here’s the thing, while we were trying to open a door so we could divert the gas catnap comes out and you know what he was doing actively? If you said he was exhaling an extremely powerful hallucinogenic gas to fill the room than congratulations you’re right! “But it’s a sedative, it slows you heart rate and makes you sleep” you may be thinking, but when you leave you still don’t have your hand, so you actually did something, the gas is multi sided, it can in small doses cause hallucinations in larger doses it acts as a sedative, slowing your heart rate so you need rest and calm down, and in a high enough dose your heart just simply stops

I have nothing to justify this, but I kind of think the sheep is actually a twisted and altered version of Craftycorn. They have a lot of the same facial structure and that horn could be hidden in the wool. They also both have hooves and the same type of nose. The only main design difference are the buck teeth and that might be a little twist hinting about the identity of the original person inside of it. Just food for thought.

Mob Entertainment _Did_ promise to put Boxy Boo into the main game... ...Still, a part of me wonders, will some of the previous Smiling Critters be in Chapter 4, and alive? I mean, Craftycorn and Bobby Bearhug were neither confirmed nor denied to actually be deceased, and considering how the Toys have been eating their smaller counterparts, it means Picky was likely eating the smaller toys to sustain herself, hence her lines. The only BBI Smiling Critters I can consider "Confirmed deceased" are 1) Kickin Chikin, 2) Bubba Bubbapant, 3) Dogday and 4) Catnap. Hoppy's end line implies she fell from a great height, but it likely means she is crippled if the fall didn't kill her (So until it is completely confirmed with a corpse or a datalog indicating her demise, her survival is left in the air), Picky's end line implies she gained a taste for "Delicious Long pork", so she is likely still roaming the facility, Bobby's card doesn't end with her screaming, and Crafty's cutout reveals she "Acquired her Red Paint". Dogday's line of "I am the last of the Smiling Critters" can be deemed as "I am the last of those who can call themselves that", since he likely never left playcare, and he thought they were all deceased as they never came back for him. By the way, one of the Moderators of the Poppy Playtime Server named "MarshMellow" is _ABSURDLY_ Intolerant. I came there wanting to ask about the Fate of the other Critters... And Get Timed Out for an Hour for _mentioning_ the Genus name of Sheeps and Goats. I am _still_ trying to get a straight answer out of that Moderator.

What if the prison area was the shipment area in the company's hey day. The toys were gassed before they were boxed up and sent outside. If you were sent a toy that should resemble a living toy but it acted like it was high as a kite. Wouldn't you be mad. Boxie was the guard, the toy with a tag on showing us this type of toy was on show, the boxes with delivery areas tells us where toys went. Be it another lab or factory and even houses. The rejected toys went into cells ready for the other toys to have. I am hoping that these aren't the kids. A group of sheep is called a folk I think.

Not only was it hinted from the teaser video to the screenshots but was also hinted in the orientation notebook on literally the last page before the quiz (page 142) where it shows a poster of boxy boo stating… “THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX!” could mean like the developers telling us to think outside the box as far as the cubes we see in the trailer and screenshots but also in the artwork they’ve been sharing with us that would probably further confirm terichos theory But also because boxy boo is one of the last characters we see in the book which is the poster im talking about

i would like to add that since this is an sewer area at least one part so there maybe be many rejected toys since its quite possible...like maybe all the big ones the apex ones are still alive idk who there were many BUT i am sure they are gonna add boxy boo.... also the daddy long legs and son long legs(they were in those cutouts) are left so maybe....
