thanks for great tutorial. one thing is MFC is not decided for battery above 7.2v. Don't you worry LiPo could damage the MFC unit? and do you have video about light channels to MFC explanation? THX
@TeriWilde2 жыл бұрын
I have never worried about the Lipo on the MFC, it'll handles it quite well, Adding a Lipo alarm only ensures you don't let the battery get too low and suffer damage... The other advantage of Lipo is the better power delivery, in another video I showed the power drop on a Nimh pack when going full throttle was quite dramatic, but the Lipo pack under the same test held it's power curve much better.

hi teri great video as I'm new to flysky I've followed your steps but I can't seem to get the lights to work I've got the lights on channel2 and headlights on j13 on the Mfc 03 as stated in the manual is there something I've done wrong or got mixed up the Mfc 03 is used in the Scania 770
@TeriWilde10 ай бұрын
Forget the manual. Plug in J4 5 6 and 7 in the receiver as in the video and set the dual rate as shown. Calibrate the MFC-03 with you radio with the dual rate switch in the Up position and then your lights should work when dual rate switch is Down and tap the right stick down to cycle through the lights.

Great video tutorial, just one question I take it that the wire that plugs into channel 5 is any accessory light?
@TeriWilde3 жыл бұрын
Ch5 can be used to control a RC Switch or beacon.... if Ch5 is allocated to one of the rotary dials then it could be used as a variable 2 way control for a tipper screw drive.

Yeah Teri, I'm a simple guy still learning about RC trucks. I have a WPL B14 and the set up is worlds away from Tamiya. I do have the flysky transmitter however I only need throttle, steering, gear change "2 speed" lights and I think that's about it. Can you please advise me on what brushed ESC and anything else that I may be leaving out. Kind wishes, Edward in Osaka Japan

I find that the Hobbywing 1060 is very good. I use them in all my other RC models. beware of cheap Chinese fakes. The genuine part will always have a red Heatsink.

How does the extra J10 wire get connected to the gear shift servo
@TeriWilde Жыл бұрын
the gear shift servo is not plugged into J10, that position on the MFC is left open... the shift servo is plugged directly into Ch6 (AUX) of the receiver and controlled by a 3 positions switch so it works independently of the MFC
@neilsmith-mr7hz Жыл бұрын
Hi Teri, Thank you for taking the time to reply with the answer to my question. I noticed from your video that the shift servo was operated from the left stick as well as the 3 position switch. I can understand either one or the other but not how the stick still operates the shift servo if it is not plugged in to J10. My apologies for rambling, so l hope you can follow my dilemma. If you get time l would appreciate your explanation. Best regards, Neil.

Do you know if the flysky FS-i 6X works with the MFC-02 for pickup trucks tamiya? Can you do a review of that? I can’t find a review of that on the Internet.

I assume you are using the FS-i6X and you have set your dual rates at 75% - 100%, and you did the calibration in the 75% position. Did you set the D/R switch to 100% when you pull the stick down?
