So glad you've discovered our beloved teriyaki. For years I've had it at least four times a week. There are so many good places....all in little strip malls. Kind of like coffee .For a while there were three within a few minutes of my office...and I noticed that the best places were dumpy. And you got a glimpse of the mountain!

Ashley Jackson I can understand if it was because the stereotypical Western preparation of broccoli is to steam it to within an inch of it’s life until it’s limp (like I remember from school lunches), but Chinese stir fried broccoli with just some garlic is amazing, even if you don’t throw some meat in there as well

That's true. About the saucy soaker (lmao). I'm pretty picky when it comes to broccoli. Absolutely not raw. And IF I have it in a dish it has to be cooked just right. If the...uh...trunk(?) is still tough then it definitely has not been cooked well enough!

I feel like you've only scratched the surface when it comes to the Teriyaki around the eastside and puget sound. I've been to that Teriyaki Plus and its pretty good, but I'd like to see a video comparing every Teriyaki joint in a single town. Even the small rural towns will have like 5 or 6 Teriyaki spots.

I live literally two minutes from Teriyaki Plus, they have really solid teriyaki and their spicy garlic chicken is my favorite. The garlic sauce is an awesome addition too, their prices are a bit higher than most normal teriyaki places but you get really huge portions.

It’s so exciting to see him go to places I’ve been too! I’ve been to that ramen restaurant right next to that bakery he got his bubble tea at! I went late that evening and thought I could get something at the bakery afterwards, but everything was already gone. It’s nice to see what’s actually offered since Mikey went during the day. I wish I could go back and enjoy all the food there, but I’m stuck living in Chicago for now 🙃

Mr. Chen been the shows for some time however have finally had a reason comment . I'm an ex kirklander and have had the best best bestest experience at a local Teriyaki shop known as TOSHIS TERIYAKI . I was excited to hear when you moved to the Seattle area, it’s my hometown. If you’re looking for more good teriyaki places, yummy teriyaki is the absolute best. It’s in Redmond, so it should be close to you. It’s a family owned business, we’ve been going there for years.

I can tell just by looking this "teriyaki" was cooked by koreans. Thats more korean bulgogi and mandoo than the japanese version.

Amber U I think teriyaki is an American dish created by Korean immigrants. It is much saucier and sweeter compared to most asian food. The Japanese version is called Yakiniku. Gyu-Kaku is a chain that sort of serves it. But like anything Japanese, the best experience is in a small restaurant run by the owner chef and seats no more than ten people.
