Sometimes they target that moment and purposely try to make you feel safer to lure you in better in the long run. Like, a man acts all creepy and fishy then a woman comes in and protects you, so you feel safe. Then the women see you trust her and asks weird questions or talk about other things like how they want you to "stay at their place" or "book an interview" or "want to get to know you better privately" or asks for your phone number etc. Obviously, they are all related in the same scheme. I heard these tropes from other KZbinrs talking about their experience btw.

Omg so glad that mom was there for you! I had a similar experience. A few years ago my family and I were visiting Disneyland. A few of us took a cab back to get some food. My youngest brother sat in the front seat and the cab driver was trying to convince my brother to take a ride to Vegas with him. Hang out he said. The cab driver was telling my brother he was young and good looking. That he had some friends over there he wanted him to meet. Of course my brother ate it up! He was young and naive and we come from a smaller community. This whole time I was telling them no he can’t do that we have plans....they ignored me. I would have told him to let us out we’ll walk, but we arrived at our destination. Not our hotel! Thank god!! The cab driver gave my brother his card and told him to give him a call. My brother was so pumped he made a new friend and he was taking him to Vegas right? I took that card out of his hand, ripped it up! He was mad at me. We argued on the sidewalk for a min. I explained to him that cab driver was trying to pimp him or sex traffic him. It was scary and it still makes my sick to this day! Be safe people!

I really need to share this story. So I also did the dcp. Mine was at animal kingdom last fall. There are these performers who aren’t “Disney” performers but paid professionals to make the lands more legit. I went to the park on my day off & one of the performers ran up to me as I was leaving the park. He seemed nice, so I told him I also work there & I gave him my number (huge mistake). He kept offering to give me a ride but I just met him so I declined. He used to text me & call me multiple times a day & when I wouldn’t respond, he would come to my location and ask why I was ignoring him (I was working so I couldn’t respond to everything). I worked at the ice cream carts, so I was typically alone. He came to one of the carts I worked at & stood there for over 10 minutes. It was in dinoland & not that many people were there. I was extremely uncomfortable!! Eventually he got a new phone so he lost my number but he said I needed to text him on his new phone. I never did & one day he came into my break area & asked “why didn’t you do what I asked?” There’s so much more to this story & honestly it’s terrifying. I’ve only told a couple of people but I haven’t even told my mom. I no longer work there so I feel a little better. 😕😕😕

OH dang, this gave me chills! So glad that didn't turn out the way those creepy ladies probably hoped it would, and that you learned from it! I had a 'almost trafficked" experience as well! I was 10 and my family and I were doing a day trip down to Tijuana, Mexico. I was browsing with my aunt in one of those 'knick knack' shops and a white older man came up to me asking me questions like "how is your day, are you here visiting with your family, how old are you, etc" and you know, I didn't want to be rude so I complied like the naive kid I was. I told him I was with my parents, brothers, and aunt and uncle and he said "Oh no grandparents?" and I said "no" and then he draped his arm around my shoulders and said "Oh don't worry, I'll be your grandpa while your here" and then proceeded to guide me out of the store. THANKFULLY, my aunt came around from the back of the store at that moment, and asked me what I was doing, and the guy just took off. He didn't say another word. I just thought it was weird and then I told my aunt and mom about what he said to me. They were freaked. We ended our day trip early and I wasn't allowed to be alone at all. I remember my mom standing right outside a bathroom stall when I had to go and things like that, lol. I will soon have kids of my own and man, it just freaks me out about all the awful things people try to do in this world.

This is TERRIFYING, and with 20/20 vision, it's easy to see clearly-but I can absolutely see how when you're talking with someone who is your own age, being friendly and chatty, it's super easy to accidentally give away too much information. The one WONDERFUL thing about this story, however, is how on top of it Disneyland was. They immediately believed you, assumed the worst, and took action to get those people as fast as possible. I sure hope they caught them. What an important story this is.

Also, I feel that sometimes Americans are way too nice. I like watching youtubers that talk about their experiences living abroad and most comment about how Americans will start a conversation out of nowhere. English people would be like “why are you talking to me? @meganpauline43916 жыл бұрын
I had a roommate in college JUST LIKE THAT. The sad part was is we got along so great for a long time (even before rooming together). Then, all of a sudden she would ignore me, leave the room when I was there, and would make disgusted sighs if she had to be in the same room with me. She would even pretend to be on the phone entering to room so she wouldn't have to talk to me. I kept asking her what I did and she would say "I don't know" or "it doesn't matter". It was heartbreaking. Then when she moved out, some of my stuff was missing... so that was a cherry on top of a fun roommate situation. And yes, she deleted me off of every socal platform she could.

I'm sorry I'm super late to the party here 😅 but I'd like to know if I was also lured into sex trafficking or not. My encounter: Back in December of 2014, I was 15 years old. I was at the mall with my stepdad and stepsister. After waking around and shopping, we decided to sit down for a minute. While they were trying to decide where we wanted to eat at, I sat in a different chair minding my own business. Suddenly, this girl approached me. She asked me what my favorite color is, what my name is, how old I was, and what my interests are. She asked me about school. I answered all of her questions and told her I was 15 and that I was a freshman in high school. She told me she likes everything I like. When I asked her what her name was, she said her name was Mary and the other girl was her friend Alisha (Alisha didn't talk to me at all. She just waved to me and then continued doing whatever she was doing on her phone). Mary told me she was 14 and that she was in 8th grade in middle school. I was very excited and happy because I thought I finally met a friend who's close to my age (I was an oddball so I didn't have any friends at school). But after a while, she asked me if I was by myself. I pointed to my stepdad and stepsister and said "Nope, I'm with them." And then she told me she's going to go back with Alisha. I said ok and that the end of our conversation. I'm surprised she didn't ask me for my phone number, but I guess he glared at them. After he told a security guard what happened, he told us we were done with the mall for a while. At first, I was a little disappointed because I thought I missed an opportunity to be friends with her. And I hoped (and prayed to God) that Mary, Alisha and I will meet again someday. But after we left, my stepdad and stepsister had a serious talk with me about them. They told me that the girl probably just agreed to everything I told her to get my attention, that Mary is probably not her real name, that she could've lied to me about her age, that the other girl could've been texting some creepy man and telling him about me and that they could've kidnapped me. My mom eventually found out about it (I figured he told her). She told me if he wasn't there, I could've been in that movie called Taken (she meant I could've been kidnapped and possibly sold for sex). This is a true story. I know that was a long time ago, but I'd like to know if I was almost lured into sex trafficking or was my family overreacting/being too overprotective. Please be honest (I want nothing but the truth) and tell me. 🥺 Also, I'm sorry you had to experience that. I'm glad you're ok. And please stay safe out there ❤

I am so glad you made it through this unharmed. I grew up in a large city and I don't trust anyone. I'm always on high alert and it is not a fun way to live but it is smart. I did the CP at Disney World and i had one experience with a middle aged man (maybe 45-50) who continued to hit on me and exclaim loudly to everyone in line to order food at my quick service location that he could sleep with me if he wanted. I never felt unsafe but some people are a$#es, and disgusting. Be safe!

Ugh that makes me so sad. I guess there really are all walks of life in Disney so you see it all. I have had so many people commenting on this video with similar situations it makes me sick! It is how you have to live though! Very aware and smart! Thank you for the support!

Omg that's crazy! Glad you were okay. Did they ever find the two women? It sounds like sex trafficking with just how they were taking pictures of you and going around you like. It's one thing to take a picture of you and be like how cool are the costumes or here is this nice person type of thing but to be all over you like that. Sounds so creepy. Thank goodness for the popcorn lady! :)

WOW!!!!! Glad you are safe and you have an awesome family, and many don't have that support and don't know where to turn if they need support. These bandits and crooks prey on innocent young women and so much evil in this world today. I remember, when I was coming home from basic training. It was 1975 and flew into NYC and from there I went into the Port Authority bus terminal to finally get to go home. I was in my class A uniform and heels. I had a huge duffel bag and I approach this man can he meet me upstairs with my bag. He stated sure and he told me, you can come too. As soon as I walked and I saw a man on the side. Well for the love of G-D. I couldn't move and was like an invisible door blocking and I all of sudden stated have to go to the bathroom. The man got so insulted and he followed me out in the public area and through down my duffel bag and stated. I worked for NYC Port Authority. I stated I don't care if you worked for!!!!!! I need to go to the bathroom and I will meet you. Nobody helped me. Wearing an army uniform in NYC was not good. Anyway, I made it upstairs and I was fine. My mother and father were very unhappy and made a complaint. Nobody should be going on a service elevator. Who knows what will have happened to me. The love of G-D was with me and him with a lot of beautiful people.

OH my gosh.... at Disneyland??? Unfortunately, this kind of happened to me at a Post Office. I was having a bad day because they were announcing lay offs at my work, and this guy ran into me at the post office, he starting saying "How beautiful I was, and I gave him my phone number.". I went on a date with him and things got weird. He talked about me flying to New York to meet his brother? He went on and on about how he was from United Aire of Emerites? and never went on a date with him again.

This is exactly why I got a sleep mask when I lived in my college dorm room with my roommate who had her laptop on all night. Your roommate is lucky that she didn’t have to HEAR your movie from your laptop & sleep with earplugs in. My roommate never used headphones & said she “slept with shows on in order to sleep better.” That was the worst.

I am so glad you are safe. As women we really have to have our guard up at all times no matter where we are whether it is at a mall, restaurant or even at work. Never ever give out personal information to a stranger. I don't want to sound like I am shaming you, but why on earth would you give your phone number out to a person who you don't know.

I am in no way defending the roommate, but as someone who suffers from extreme light-sensitivity and migraines, the flash on a phone and light from a computer are very bothersome for me (especially when there are no other lights on); with that being said, I would never seek out an arrangement to live with someone that I didn’t know. I would never want to put those burdens on a roommate, knowing how hard it is for my family to deal with these issues, sharing the same house. If I were in that situation, I would have just gone to lay on the couch, so it would not have been bothersome for my roommate; but I guess she just felt entitled to having her way.
@TeenG5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I would never live with someone if I knew I was that sensitive!
@colleenroze5 жыл бұрын
Exactly!! I suffer from sleep complications due to things like noise and light but the way the roommate handled the situation was stupid. I HAD to be in a dorm room (with another girl) my first year of college and had a HORRIBLE experience & a disgusting roommate but was still civil with her even then because I had to live with her.

I just wanted to tell you how glad I am that you stayed safe. Anaheim has a very serious issue with this kind of sex trafficking where groups of women rove around looking for possible victims. What those women were doing was exactly what the police said it was. You would absolutely have been contacted and they would have tried to lure you to a location and you’d have been gone. It’s that serious. Disneyland needs to do away with the hometown thing on the nametags. It really is all the info they need to stalk someone. Very glad you are safe. Glad you got away from the turd bag roommate too. Ugh.
