Destiny is all upset because her cabinet doors, walls, and closet weren't fixed. Yet it was her, her fights with live-ins, and/or her kids that Destroyed those items. She was also sounding So UPSET that her rent was raised by $5.00 -- to, I assume, $25 a month - in a place where she didn't have to submit a cleaning deposit nor 1st/last month rent, like most people have to come up with....along with a sizeable chunk of money just to pay the rent each month. She and hers, have tore up the place - cabinets, doors, walls, smoke alarm..etc, smoked, had a dog in there, has frequent fights at night and the children seem to be out of control, to the point of damaging playground equipment and causing other parents to keep their own kids away from them. For $25 a month....she had it easy. She has no idea what a struggle it is for people who have to pay $500 on up for a small place to live, and she can't do the bare minimum in being respectful towards the property, fellow tenants, and of course, since she had zero respect for the place, and others, she's not teaching her crotch rockets how to respect things and people either.. I really hope she's evicted and her children are taken by CPS...and can find loving homes where their are boundaries set and manners taught before it's too late for those kids to go on to live a productive life, rather than lives where they end up fighting, and destroying things because that's all they ever learned, from their mother.

I live in income based housing and I work full time. I would love to say everyone is so grateful and it’s always clean and laundry rooms work properly etc etc, BUT it is not. You can quickly see who works and just doesn’t make a lot and who does not. I never want to say anything bad when I live here also but some people are so entitled, disgusting, lazy, loud, don’t supervise their kids and on and on. It really sucks for those of us who pick up trash regularly and sweep out common areas on weekends and appreciate what we have so very much. I think management has a lot to do with it. Some get away with way more and so many chances you can’t count, openly working under the table, more animals than allowed, no leashes and never pick up after their dogs and management just turns a blind eye. You feel absolutely targeted if you try to solve an issue.

HUD Section 8 has a $25 minimum rent for those with near $0 income. The rent is normally 30% of the monthly income. Money for living expenses has to come from someplace. These can be some of the most troublesome tenants, at least in my experience.

They were meth bugs for sure... I have heard people see bugs and things crawling on meth... Exactly why they pick at their skin all on a meth addicts have holes/ scans in their face. It's just unbelievable to me that these type of people get housing for $25 a month and I became widowed with two kids because my spouse ignored his health issues and passed away extremely suddenly literally two days after I came home from a long hospital stay bedridden. yet I applied for assistance and was denied and tried to get disability and was denied even though I have aggressive colon cancer and can't work. But I left out home (of 8 years and all my kids had known) which was a rental clean and not owing anything because I refuse to stay owing people money and now we have nothing but my car. I spent the night in the hospital last night and my son took care of my younger daughter in the car and I found out I have severe infection in my kidneys and I left the hospital because I told them I couldn't stay. So many people are in a bad way in my area and there is no help. I know that my situation is no one's problem or responsibility but it's just frustrating when I see people get help and then just don't do anything to better themselves..

Some say bugs are on them but most pick at their faces non stop for other reasons. They are so jacked up on endorphins and dopamine they become unreal fidgety. Ask an ICE/meth addict why they do that answer u will get is it feels good others will say it's relaxing/calming as their brain is in super duper insane warp speed to the 2nd galactic power. Parents rather play squatters then atleast have a semi stable place to live. Someone who owed them nothing took them off the streets put them up in her place for free so how they thanked her? By shitting all over her kindness. ICE/meth tends to magnify all your asshole traits. The drug to the addict is above even their kids. I seen it happen many many more times than I care to remember. Those 2 have a long way to go to hit bottom meanwhile their kids get stuck with and forced to pay the tab their parents are wracking up.....sickening

I honestly think they were nitpicking everything. This is subsidized housing in my area they are not very well kept properties on the management’s part. Some of these rules were outrageous, however for 25.00 a month my house would be absolutely spotless and ready for inspection at all times. If I did qualify my rent would be $700 a month less than the full market amount I pay for my apartment. My best friend has MS, is a breast cancer survivor, and is currently going through treatment for a rare form of eye cancer and has been on the housing list for years. Where I live there are more than 5,000 people waiting on the list and the majority have been waiting for more than a decade or more. It’s infuriating that this obnoxious, lazy, parasite receives so much financial support and is so ungrateful and undeserving, instead of the truly needy people who can’t even imagine having the same quality of life as she does, with so much support and access to services. I live in Georgia up. It's me, my boyfriend, and our 4-year-old living in our household. I can't qualify for Medicaid because my boyfriend makes too much money and I have to claim his income for our household which is fair. I'm not complaining about that. If I would say he's in a different household then we would have to go through the child support office and he would be ordered to pay a certain amount of child support every month Even though he takes care of his child. I wouldn't be able to say that there's no need for child support. He would have to pay a certain amount of child support to me and a certain amount to the state to cover the Medicaid. I also don't qualify for the tax credit for Obamacare because I can't claim my boyfriend's income because we're not married and I file taxes separately. You have to make at least $14,000 and some change a year to qualify for Obamacare. I've been a stay-at-home mom since our child was born. I don't have an income right now. I'm planning on going back to work when he starts school next year, but that leaves me without medical coverage until then. Like I said, I'm not complaining about having to claim his income. It's our household income. It's just frustrating when I can't even qualify for Obamacare leaving me without any type of medical coverage because we can't afford $300 plus a month for insurance. We end up paying out of pocket for my medications every month. Then, I see people like this who qualify and get everything. The people who really need a little bit of help can't get it. It's all so backwards.

This seems like a terrible place to live! Sounds like these people have nothing to do but complain. Also, the crochety old man let his racism slip when mentioning the black guy. As a former smoker who couldn't smoke in my apartment, I had my stuff like that too. There were no ashes in the ashtray just cigarette butts. I would move out ASAP if I were her. My husband and I started watching this case together before bed. I told him this after hearing no noise after 9pm, watch all of the witness be over the age of 50. He went off to work this morning, I resumed the video. Called him at work and said, yep I was right. I have a few issues with this case. First, no pets allowed. At the start of the video, there is a black cat sitting on the lap of one off the witness's lap for the apartment manager. Second, the place that helped this mother get this apartment with the low rent should have looked at the rules of this building a little better, this is no place for children to live. Parents know that things happen at all hours of the night when you have children. Now this is just my opinion I think there are other reason that we might never know on why this mom did not allow management into her apartment. I also feel that her rent was paid on time all the time, so they could not use that as an excuse to evict her, so they started to look for other excuses.

I lived in an apartment a few years ago and had an elderly couple above me and they had custody of their grandkids, so we heard stomping and running on top of us at all times of night and day , i worked from home. My boyfriend and I never complained. My unit got flooded & My apartment's trying to screw me at the end of my lease and they stuck up for me. And wrote a written statement. When you don't complain on your neighbors they back you up. . Even the elderly 😂

It's so sad to me that a tenant complained because the little boy was knocking on doors asking to play. How horrible of a person do you have to be to report someone for that? And what landlord considers that a lease violation? That broke my heart.

There are two possibilities: one is that the violation was having a minor child unaccompanied in the complex to the extent that they were able to randomly knock on multiple strangers' doors. The other is that this wasn't the sweet, sad query for a playmate that we imagine. Based on other complaints, at least one of her children has been reported for bullying other children. It's also complex that even refers to itself as a "project," and $25 is _very_ low, even for Section 8 housing. It is _good_ that the neighbors reported the child knocking on random doors and asking to play, because -- unfortunately -- that is almost certainly not a safe place to be doing such a thing.

I have seen the other case where her neighbours testified for many breaches of dumping rubbish, ker kids picking fights and foul language, having a dog against the tenancy agreement, having people living with her against the agreement. Abusive behaviour etc. She's being nice here but in the last case, she had attitude. I'm a single mum too with two sons.. I never ever allowed this kind of behaviour from this lady and her sons etc

Why am I getting a he said she said vibe. Neither party had anything in the way of evidence or proof. If you want to call the parade of witnesses that the plaintiffs called proof or evidence, then i guess they had a bunch of people testify to some stories. There's not really any proof that the stories were true, but yet the judge sided with them. I got the feeling the only reason he sided with them was because he knew them from previous courtroom encounters. Which has to be some kind of conflict of interest. The defendant really wasn't given a fair shot, she had some papers she wanted to provide as proof but the judge seemed to dismiss most of her proof & her testimony. If I were Miss Woods I would get the hell out of that rat hole ASAP & the next thing on my agenda would be a really good landlord/tenant lawyer. By the way how many of you people have been inside of Miss Woods apartment...? How do you know how clean or not it is or isn't? Just because she lives in substidised housing doesn't mean she's a bad, dirty, lazy or doesn't watch her kids. I feel if Miss Woods could have afforded a good lawyer as well, this story might have had a very different ending. I agree with her when she said it was pay back for her calling HUD on the management for them not doing there job, instead the judge dismissed that as well...! This whole thing is a horrible display of misjustice...!!!
