I would suggest getting all the sound effects clean (lazers, explosions, engine noises, etc...) and layering it all together. Noir Deco has a great cover version of the future war theme. I've tinkered around with it myself.

The movie could've won 3 or 4 oscar if it beginned with the T1 soundtrack. Ori kandosii. Really nicely done.
