I am a huge Termimator fan and I say watch them all and make up your own mind. Personally I love most of the sequels, and still like things about the one that most people dislike. The thing to remember is that the people who dislike sequels in major franchises are often influenced by long held biases about what they expect. As a new viewer, without the years and decades to ponder the first two movies, you are potentially free from those biases and may be a lot more forgiving of things that sometimes disappoint long term fans because you haven't spent years building up ideas of where a sequel should go. Terminator 3 is the last direct sequel and is still pretty good. Terminator : Salvation is a grittier war film and the only installment that takes place entirely during the "Future" war against the machines. It is the first to not directly feature Arnold Schwarzenegger. Terminator: The Sarah Conner Chronicles, was a TV series which ran for two seasons and is an alternate timeline sequel to Terminator 2 that ignores the events of Terminator 3. It is also quite good but was canceled after ending on a cliffhanger. Arnold Schwarzenegger does not appear. Terminator: Genesys is the least liked but features Arnold's return while recasting other legacy roles due to the nature of the plot weaving I and out of the existing timeline in this soft reboot. I still like it. Terminator: Dark Fate is yet another alternate sequel to Terminator 2 that also ignores the events of Terminator 3. It features the return of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor and acts as yet another soft reboot.
@jean-paulaudette92462 жыл бұрын
Well, tthe first two films are fantastic, and the later ones kind of retcon the victories of this one: THIS should have made any further films impossible. If you can get over that seeming betrayal of the plotline, they're not bad films, unless you compare them to these. if you find yourself wanting a Terminator story, check them out, and see what you think. I will say that the brief TV series, "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" was quite entertaining, even if they re-cast all the main roles.
@hanng12422 жыл бұрын
The 3rd Terminator film is OK. I like it because it makes Judgment Day inevitable and loops everything back around so that John can send Reese back to the '80's and ensure his own existence. Everything after "T3: Rise of the Machines" is total garbage. I too endorse "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles" starring Lena Heady before she blew up in fame after Game of Thrones. However, if one is planning on watching it, know that it will end on a very big cliffhanger at the end of the second season that never gets resolved because the show got cancelled. I really wish someone would acquire the rights and finish up the story in either a feature-length movie or a short mini-series (sort of like how "Serenity" finished up "Firefly" for the fans)

Both of the beings who come back this time are terminators, but that's not what Sarah meant; the two terminators she's referring to are the one sent to strike at her and the one sent to strike at John. In each case there's a terminator out to kill their target and a protector. I don't think you can paint Skynet as simply evil. From its point of view the first thing it experienced after becoming self aware was humans trying to kill it, so it lashed out with the only weapons it had available. After that initial confrontation humans are never going to stop trying to wipe out Skynet, so obviously they've got to go.

This was the super-extended edition. Scenes NOT in the theatrical version; The orderlies beating Sarah and forcing her to take her pills. Sarah's dream where she sees Kyle. It was deemed too similar to the later dream. The T-1000 killing the dog and then searching John's room. In fact, the room search scene isn't in the normal extended edition. The room search was cut because Cameron felt it made the T-1000 look psychic. The whole sequence where they open the terminator's head and remove the chip. Instead they dubbed a line about him learning from his contact with humans. John teaching the terminator how to smile. The scene of Miles telling his wife about his work. The scenes of them smashing up the lab with axes. It was deemed pointless if they were just going to blown up the lab anyway. The scenes of the T-1000 malfunctioning after being frozen and shattered. Cameron was afraid that people wouldn't understand that it was damaged and having problems. The happy ending in the park. This also wasn't in the normal extended version. The theatrical version ends with the camera going down the road at night while Sarah says that the future is now uncertain because if a terminator can learn the value of human life, maybe we can too.
@hanng12422 жыл бұрын
Every one of these scenes that doesn't have a terminator in it either adds nothing to the film or makes it worse. The "happy" ending is particularly bad - it feels like the bizarre coda at the end of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" in that takes a dramatic ending, then throws in some PSA about being better people. The ambiguous one showing the road being driven on was much better. The three scenes that made the film better were: 1. the T-1000 killing the dog and searching John's room for clues on where to go next. 2. The part where the T-1000 is frozen, shattered, then thawed out a reformed. The hazard stripes on his arm to show it glitching out was good because... 3. The scene where John knows which is the terminator and which is his mother because the T-1000 was glitching out.

trucks are slower than bikes and cars, at least that what i use to think before🤗, until i learn that the wheels are bigger, they take a lot more grounds then bikes and cars, that why they're able to catch up to them

As long as you don't block Christian Bales lights that really pisses him off.

You can tell people to click dislike if they dislike. KZbin doesn't care whether you get likes or dislikes, as long as you're getting clicks.

Terminator Dark Fate reunited Linda Hamilton and Arnold ant it ignores all the movies after #2. Story wise you could do that next. However most people didn't like it. But you might. It's 50/50 for me.

Great reaction 👍🏻 Do react to: - Hidden Figures - Miss Sloane - Sully - Enemy at the gates - U571 - My Cousin Vinny - Ratatouille - Passengers - Interstellar

Time travelers end up being naked (and the REASON for the whole cybernetics of the Terminators) is that any NON-LIVING material in the outermost layer is destroyed by the process, so, the Terminators all need living skin, and they all show up butt naked.

ponytail is so cant get grabbed by hair, or it caught in a door etc during an emergency situation. in real life best to shave it off if fighting for life regular/in war/no rule of law etc, would look bad on screen of course

You can watch the one's past Judgement Day if you want but just know the story quality dips dramatically. All of them are pretty much a Rehash of the same story except for Terminator Salvation but that one has it's own issues.
