She's one of the most underrated actors ever, such an amazing performance in both T1 and T2, she was incredible in both movies, playing both the "scared deer caught in the headlights" and then in the second one playing a seasoned professional protecting her son, yet still emotionally very human and vulnerable. Amazing versatility, especially in the second movie. The entire act where she goes to Dyson's house to kill him is some of the best acting ever performed by a human being, and that's not an exaggeration at all.

Movies now use too much CGI and hire the lowest bidder. Might work for a kids movie or romance or comedy, but it greatly takes away the real emotion if you want to make a film that's convincing and portrays just that. T1 and T2 are great films and nobody can deny that. And that musical score. I think I just jizzed in my pants. Truly amazing in every aspect.
@Howlingburd19 Жыл бұрын
@@Gizamalukeix unless it’s like an “Avatar-tier” project where you kinda have to rely heavily on CGI, most movies should have a healthy mix between practicals and CGI. That’s why movies like Terminator 2, Jurassic Park, and The Lord of the Rings trilogy stand the test of time so well

When the first film came out, everyone wanted his handgun, which I believe was an AMT Hardballer Longslide. However, demand was so great that some dealers wanted a whopping $1,000 for one. And the laser sight? It was a prop but a few years later, technology improved and some were able to custom build one but the prices also $1,000, bringing the cost to $2k! Ouch. PS: the handguns Sarah used in T2 was NOT an AMT. I strongly believe it was a Detonics Scoremaster because of the barrel, which always sticks out about a quarter inch from the slide. Also, the slide had huge carved "channels" on the rear instead of finely cut serrations like on M1911 style handguns. I have heard of it being briefly available in a .451 Magnum cartridge! Owners said this was a bad idea because it overstressed the entire gun and made it prone to cracking.

This movie had it all, if the people behind the sequels understood it wasnt all about the effects, we cared about about the bond that builds In this film, Arnold at his peak,Linda hamilton as a psychotic badass, a revolutionary villain in Robert Patrick, and eddie furlong in his best performance which had insane special effects,( remember this was made in 1991) great chemistry, and a very emotional ending. There is no charecter development in the newer films, they are hollow, no one cares about them. James cameron was a real artist with a vision that still blows us away nearly 30 years later. I think dark fate will tank and than all should be done till they unearth 20 years later with Dwayne Johnson in his 60s, playing a T875, the thought is meant as a joke, but at this point is it too much to fathom these days

I think the final scene is the best in harmony with the beautiful music...this early 90s movie haunted me...30 years later is best than todays horrible movies, cause is realistic...thank you James Cameron for all this memories...someday will be back in those great years...😉👍

Basically, it is 99% of the movie, I mean, there is no "bad" scene in this movie, the entire movie is a masterpiece, impossible to surpass...

I think this was the first or one of the first films to feature CGI? My eyes literally popped at the T-1000 and my heart pounded watching the heartstopping action scenes.

all these comments are all top notch… T2 really was an incredible film, it’s a shame in a way that they simply don’t make films like this anymore

I watch it regularly every year or so. Aside of being excellent science fiction, it is a film of remarkable timing, pace, photography, and characterization. It's much, much better than its genre would suggest.

One of the greatest actions and sci-fi movies ever. But it left out one of my favorite scenes. When the pompous psychologist sees the T2 come through the bars.

The cgi back in the day looks old now and 1 or 2 scenes look dated. But in the last 30 years of action/Sci fi movies there are only a couple that have come close to it. I love the prison break when he pushes the female guard along to floor, her little puppy like yelp is so funny. I still watch it regularly. BRILLIANT FILM 🎥
