Hey Guys! I've been battling all week to convince KZbin this video is fair use and after editing this video like 10 times... we've finally made it! Who knows how long this will last, so get it while it's hot. ALSO, I realised the ending of the extended edition is NOT the same as the theatrical and the theatrical makes a lot more sense in terms of franchising. Anyway... enjoy. Appreciate ya!

Greetings from Finland man!!! Nice reaction and you should re-watch Terminator 3 so we can see your reaction and thoughts on it and I'd highly recommend you to check out Terminator Salvation witch is the best sequel after judgment day if you ask me!!! "I'll be back" 😎

Maybe your best reaction yet? ❤ Nice to see you relaxed yet attentive to details and possible plot twists - so different to me just gaping at the storyline fold out lol. Love your facial expressions, and the daddy cardigan heheheee. Greets from another Finn! 🇫🇮

56:53 The ending is one of the reasons I prefer the theatrical cut. The extended edition adds a couple of scenes which disrupt the pace and the theme of certain things. For example the reset switch scene was originally cut out. I like it this way because then the Terminator starts to learn and memorize human stuff due to his bond to John, instead of a clinic software update. The glitching of the T1000 at the very end start to crumble its reputation about being "almost" indestructable. After watching the theatrical movie many times I was always astonished by the fact that up until like 5s before its destruction it was still 100% functional, only to be outsmarted by the T800. Also it is more impressive to see John figuring out by himself that his real mother would never call for him in that situation - instead of the added scene where the molten feet give away its camouflage. Last but not least the ending is anticlimatic to the start of the movie and the whole plot in general. The standard ending is much more realistic, dark and metaphorical to how the future will unfold. Dont get me wrong, these scenes are not bad, but for a first watch, I prefer the theatrical cut. After that, the extended version becomes interesting to watch for fans, but not the other way round.

I cant believe any grown man when he says they've never seen Terminator 2. It's crazy to me. I saw this masterpiece when I was 9 years old. The Terminator and T2 are the Star Wars and Empire of my generation. To me, T2 is the greatest action film ever made. Its arguably the best sequel ever made. Every film after Terminator 2 amounts to meh to bad to terrible fan fiction.

1. Linda Hamilton should have been at least an Acadamy Award for best actress. 🤩 2. My guess is that stove is hot🧐 3. We have limited AI now, so does China.😱😱 4. Arnold did many, but not all of his own stunts in this movie, including riding the motorcycle. At one point he was injured, and they had to stop production for a couple of weeks so he could recover. 5. Arnold is not left-handed, but the way he works that shotgun is impressive😲 6. The twin security guards also play in "Good Morning Vietnam". 7. GOOF: Enrique's dogs don't respond to "Uncle Bob" as a Terminator. 8. "I need a vacation" was ad lib. 9. This is the action movie GOAT.🤩

Glad you enjoyed this legendary classic. I was there in 1991 watching this masterpiece at the cinema, and to say it amazed EVERYONE, is an understatement. This film literally CHANGED cinema. So to give you some information on the mechanics of time travel, and how it works. Everytime a human or Terminator go through time, they create an alternate timeline. So for instance, Reece in the first film looked at a picture of Sarah in the future, and then went back in time to 1984. When he did though, he went back in time to a different Sarah from another timeline. So the Sarah in the photo was from Reece's timeline, not the one he then helps in 1984. This is how the T1000 and T800 dont dissapear when Cyberdyne is destroyed. Its because both Terminators have come from the timeline where Cyberdyne WASN'T destroyed, but went back in a DIFFERENT timeline where Cyberdyne was STILL intact. This means the war is STILL a possible with Skynet, unless its destroyed with the T1000. Destroying both in tge film ensues the ending you watched, which is the "Alternate ending". This is ending that SHOULD have been used, but the theatrical ending is just left ambiguous. Terminator 3 was made because of the original ending to T2, not the "alternate" version you watched. John knows about the Terminator, because hes ALREADY experienced the events of the film from HIS timeline. When he sends the T800 back in time to protect himself when hes a boy, he sends it to an ALTERNATE John Conner. So this means hes sent the T800 to another version of "himself", in another alternate timeline. Alternate timelines in the Terminator multiverse, have already been CONFIRMED, so this information is accurate. Fantastic reaction by the way.

"How we get to T3 then?". That's the point! We don't! All Ts after T2s are stupid parodies without any right to exist. That's it. And don't tell me about theatrical edit, Director's cut just proves the point even more, cause that's how it was supposed to end, that's how the guys who wrote it imagined it, no some stupid money-oriented film studio. T1-T2 are the original movies. Everything else is just moneymaking by not-so-bright unrespectful people. The fact that Arnie and even Cameron himself are back to it only proves the fact that age is unfortunately a factor, which we see in a lot of franchises from Alien to you name it.

I saw both T1 and T2 on release and i have to say I prefer T1 slightly because it was so groundbreaking and dark. You have to remember that T2 was the second use of CGI after The Abyss and peoples minds were blown by the T1000.

You're right T1 was definitely much darker. Completely different films though! It's almost hard to compare the two.

Jim Cameron : "-Can you fly (the choppe) runder that bridge while we film this ? -Sure, no problem." It's insane, but it worked perfecly. It's not an effect. Nobody ever notice it.
@chelotobar5258Ай бұрын
As mentioned in my T1 comment, Cameron’s movies and the recent anime show are clear on the rules. This is not the Back To The Future single timeline rule. These work on multiple timeline theory, time travelers don’t “disappear” if the new timeline is affected. Their past is the timeline they came from, the one they change has no effect on their existance. (Technically, the future from which the T1000 and uncle Bob come from is the 1984 world seen in T1, they don’t come from the 2029 future seen in Kyle’s memories)

Dogs can identify the terminators. The resistance learned that and started using dogs for that purpose. So yeah...they don't like dogs hahaha

The Black guy at Cyberdine, Dyson (Joe Morgan) is a legendary actor from stage & screen. If you need a (more current) reference of what he's been in, watch THE JUSTICE LEAGUE... He plays Cyborg's Dad. But, the role that he's best known for is on the t.v. show SCANDAL playing "Pappa Pope", Olivia Pope's intense Dad. 😀

@EQINOX187Ай бұрын
Unfortunately what should have a massive plot twist to find out Arnold was the good guy was utterly spoiled before the film even came out, the trailer they started showing at cinemas literally said he was now the good guy and that information was then placed on the internet of the time and them entertainment and game magazines put it into print in great big bold text. Edit to add. In the original theatrical version of Terminator 2 the film ended with them driving down a dark road with a voice over saying something along the lines that they move forward into a new uncertain future that is not set, it was done this way as James wanted to make a 3rd film but all his attempts were shut down by the studio executives and at the time it was clear a 3rd film would never be made and so when he made the directors cut he made a new ending ( the ones you seen ) that portrays a future where skynet never happened and so bringing an end. But then years later they wanted to finally make T3 and so they changed a few things about skynet and judgment day in that it would always happen it was just a matter of when and for how long it was delayed.
@CarryOnTomАй бұрын
That's so frustrating! Movie trailers are such a double edged sword. Necessary for good marketing but trailer makers still haven't seemed to grasp the art of 'not giving the entire movie away'.

31:43 tell me, where would future John have hidden instructions, in a suppository in the Terminator’s 🫏? Besides, I imagine paper is kinda hard to come by in the post-apocalyptic year of 2029. Also, the T-1000 doesn’t have a chip as its central processing unit, its entire body IS the CPU-or to put it another way, each “cell” of its body is a CPU

By 1991, Arnie had become a big star so it wasn't at all surprising he became the good guy. For me at least, it was a cliche and disappointing to see him do his usual stuff...shoot, shoot, boom, one-liner. Missed him as the baddie and I wanted Sarah to kick his butt again.

I have seen this movie many times, but this is the first time I've ever seen that ending, set thirty years after non-Judgement Day. There is another version of this where it ends with Sarah Connor speaking over a video showing the road passing by, like if it were seen by someone looking out of a car. The ending in the version you just watched is a little TOO happy. I'm not sure I like it.
