I had a similar Freddy Krueger makeup kit with a weird styrofoam hat back in the day. I think I got it from a Walgreens. That and one of those cheesy Freddy gloves that was glow in the dark plastic stuck on a knit stretch glove.

As a kid I owned and wore the BEN COOPER KIDS COLLECTION Alien costume when I was 5, alongside my original ALIEN Kenner Figure. I loved those things and as a collector I miss them so much.

Yeah those two pieces you mentioned old love you had as well. Guy at local antique mall said he had the original Kenner figure come in not that long ago and sold almost immediately. That’s cool you had the costume too. I never ever see that thing anywhere.

@2DayRentals I saw that Neca released an action figure of a kid with the Ben Cooper Alien costume and supposedly a recreation of the costume. The paint on the face mask isn't exactly how it was, but that can be corrected. But the combination of the costume and figure rounds up around 70 bucks. I'm all in nostalgia, but not at the expense of my food 🤣🤣🤣, still, it's cool to see. On the Kenner Alien figure... The Super 7 recreation would be the more appropriate to the pockets, but it's still a very hot item, so it's hard to tell which would be better to get, either the original or the Super 7 version(s).

I wish they would do Super7 Kenner style Aliens figures. I’m excited about the Mondo figures and will save my pennies to get them but, damn I know they will be pricey

@@2DayRentals I know what you mean, it's all one can do to get the figures before they hit the secondary market, cause after that, it's hell. I recently was able to get the Neca Kenner Tribute Gorilla Alien at a surprising super cheap pricing thanks to my cousin. It was in bad shape, missing the inner mouth, the lower teeth, though it has the mandible and was missing a leg joint, my cousin even bought its clear dome separate for me too. I thankfully have a Warrior Alien KO which the joints are the same and I was able to take the figures apart and give the Gorilla Alien his joint for his leg. I'm sculpting the inner mouth separately for him to have one, and soon I am starting to sculpt his lower teeth (Thank goodness for Dentistry school LOL), and I am also making a Blade for his tail. (I will record the teeth making process and hopefully I will post it as my starting vid). The Warrior Alien KO will be mixed match with a battle damage Warrior that is coming in the mail too, which also is missing an arm. And this is the example of the sacrifice one has to do in order to get a very hard to get figure in the secondary market. So trust me, I definitely understand.

That NECA Gorilla tribute figure is one that has escaped me for years. Never saw it in the stores and when I rarely see it at shows or out it’s always really pricey. Much like you said when it hits the secondary market it game over man. I can’t wait see your videos. Glad we have connected on here. That’s an awesome piece. I have the 1992 Batman Returns Penguin makeup kit. Kit comes with a silly nose, Terminator is much cooler.

I used the Terminator 2 one in 1992. All you really needed was the 'skull plate'. I used make-up from something else because the little canisters kinda sucked. The end product got me on the local news! It looked real. I also used one of the LED's out of an old Zanny Zappers sunglasses set....

I too have ALWAYS wanted this.. I had a friend back in the day that had it and wore it and he (We were teenagers) looked AMAZING in it. I've always wanted one myself to try it. Im curious how much you picked it up for.

Thats freaking cool. I’d imagine it would work a little better on larger head. I’ve been pretty amazed on how many people remember this and wanted it to. I believe I paid around 30 bucks for it…which is on the lower side because of the wear on the packaging. It’s still in okay condition but you can tell it’s been moved around a lot.
