that's why it is most powerful.
@macgyver91344 жыл бұрын
Slowest impacts per minute maybe. Not much else that is going to remove rocks that fast. And before you say explosives, you have to spend a lot of time drilling for explosives.

Not talking aboutblowing it up! I operate a hammer on an excavator that would run rings around that .
@macgyver91344 жыл бұрын
@@brocky7470 That's funny, because I've seen excavators spend hours doing nothing but making chips before they ended up blasting. Really it comes down to the material being removed.

Yes, this is the most powerful hammer I have ever seem in my life. Much much better than those conventional hydraulic hammers that hit a few time per second, but only produce dust & gravels. The impact force of this hammer penetrate deep down into the rock. Although it take longer per hit, it works much more efficient. And less annoyance to our ears.
@salvadordollyparton6663 жыл бұрын
normal hammers aren't meant to penetrate several feet or even meters. they're meant to break smaller rocks or concrete, and be more productive which is why they're faster. and more compact. you couldln't use that in construction. maybe commercial, where you just have a giant open area. everything has it's place.
@salvadordollyparton6663 жыл бұрын
and as far as ears go, my ear buds work just fine for me. maybe not so much for the other people on site.lol

I'd like to see its productivity alongside the largest Xcentric ripper as a fair comparison. This monster uses pile driver type thumpings rather than rapid-fire vibrations; most impressive.

What’s the advantage to this over blasting?
@jacksfavedad4 жыл бұрын
In around 2 - 3% of rock which is mined, blasting is not allowed or presents other problems which make alternatives like hammers more economical. In this application, blasting is not allowed due to ground vibration problems. When you can't blast, you need the next-most cost effective method. That method is to use the Terminator.
