ScrewAttack should really revisit Terminator vs RoboCop, with the new renditions of the characters. Arnie was given a major upgrade in Genisys. From a T-850, he turned into a T-1000. Now, he basically has a futuristic version of the durability of '90's RoboCop. RoboCop on the other hand, had his durability seriously nerfed. Now he can't survive anything that can shoot a bullet above 50. cal. But on the plus side, his foot speed was drastically increased. But to make it a fair fight, might as well pit Arnie T-1000 vs '90's RoboCop.

I think there were a few comics series based on the two meeting. In the one I read a human had gone back in time to kill Murphy as he was the first, successful ambulatory cyborg and his technology went-on to influence Terminators. Murphy saved her from a Terminator which ironically was trying to save him by killing her.. Her first words to Robocop were, "Murphy, you killed us all..."

Aaron, Dark horse comics used to publish Robocop and Terminator comics a while back along with the Aliens and Predator comics. Later Avatar Press published a Robocop series and dynamite and IDW published a terminator series. You should do a reaction to ERB's Robocop vs Terminator as well.

T800 has 2 fuel cells..... throw 1 and shot it, make for a pretty good improvised grenade..... or would that conflict with "cannot self terminate" since it powercell is part of it. (because he only removes parts when it jeopardises mission, or is a definate victory, e.g. when arm was crushed he removed, when cell was damage he removed it.)

This is the heat of battle, and hes been extensively damaged. It happens (and machines can make mistakes, it happens less often than with humans but it happens). :/ In addition, plasma beams would inflict more damage than a plasma pulse like we see from the Terminators futuristic weapons. Robocop survives more than he should (his organs should have all ruptured from the forces hes experienced throughout the 3 films and then some, and yet hes still kicking in all of them.

i dunno, pretty foregone conclusion that weapons wouldn't be what terminator had going for him. Unless i'm missing something, the majority of the projectiles he'd use would be 45 auto, buckshot, and something that (correct me if i'm wrong) would have roughly the penetrative capabilities of most rifle rounds. those first two wouldn't do jack and/or shit for anything that isn't built of squishy flesh and car doors, and if the fancy space-age shit and military-grade explosives didn't mean much, the third of that trio wouldn't get very far either. than again, i suppose that jet-pack ain't exactly adamantium itself so the point of them isn't entirely moot. either way, i hardly think his weapons were what good old arny had going for him here.
