Ato Getachew Mekuria...One of the greatest arthist Ethiopia had given to the world. He play Sax as if he is like talking. All this plays takes Ethiopians heart and have a deep meaning in our daily lifes.

Make that one of the greatest artists of the world, of all (known) times. And it's a different way of talking, much more exact. It's as if his soul flows straight through the reeds and resonates with our souls.

@User-rm9cw, I'm not a musician, so I can't respond to this opinion. However, I do know that Ethiopian music places a strong emphasis on the lyrics, which are an integral part of the social fabric. If I'm not mistaken, he likely played the instrument as it should be played during this performance.
