I love ocotillo, been coming since i was a kid. People respect it too, more than glamis(love glamis too) definitely recommend it for good riding and safe family environment too, also they have showers to and bathrooms everywhere😎

Walk around video of the 4Runner in its current state is a must !!! .. looked like it had mini trailing arms instead of lower links on the back..

Is there a walkaround video for the 4Runner?
@theclan4adventures3 жыл бұрын
Yeah exactly was it me or did it look like it had mini trailing arms instead of a standard rear lower link????
@chrissshenanigans49363 жыл бұрын
@@theclan4adventures yeah it looks like a 3 link shortcourse hybrid. shocks look mount inside of the frame as well. super dope and low profile setup. wish i could fit something like this on my 3rd gen 4runner
@theclan4adventures3 жыл бұрын
@@chrissshenanigans4936 yeah no doubt.. you can do a lot with a 3rd gen though.. I’m sure a mini 4link with trailing arms wouldn’t be too much work.. just a lot of fab ..calculations and measurements if you have the skills or know someone who does..
@chrissshenanigans49363 жыл бұрын
@@theclan4adventures yup definitely. alot of people go three link shortcouse with shock over axle. main hurdle going 4link is the gas tank location and not enough room inbetween the framerails and body to mount shocks in a 4 link trailing arm style. would be cool as hell tho.
@terra-crew3 жыл бұрын
@@chrissshenanigans4936 @Sequoia4trails The 4Runner has a three link mini trailing arm setup in the rear with a bypass and a coilover mounted on the outside of the frame going into the trailing arm. Super tight package and works awesome with 16" of wheel travel strapped. -BlackHat

Apologies if it sounds like a dumb question, but it is pretty self explanatory as to where to park? I've never been there before and I need to give my YZ250X a good stretch. Plus I haven't been on a bike in a while so I figured wide open space is best before hitting the tracks.

We used to ride out there in early 70s before everything had names it was only b l o w sand Devil Slide Split Mountain but we rode Everywhere You filmed and even down the riverbed to the Salton Sea we called it r o c k a t i a because there was so many rocks then when we found out about Glamis we would only drive right through Ocotillo and never stop! Just went for my first time last week and as soon as I get there my Jeep wouldn’t turn on and we already fell behind from the group. Still so fun though I got the Jeep running and the whole day we were chasing our group that we were supposed to ride with. One thing you guys didn’t mention that I find really important. Go slow near the camp sites. First off it’s respectful and also it’s hard to see little kids riding on their little 50s 🏍.
