It’s funny how every one try’s to keep some of their build ideas a secrete just to surprise social media like its never been done before haha No hate I’m guilty of it to, just think it funny that we do that for no real reason🤣🤣 btw I dig the jdm style on a prerunner🤘🏻🤘🏻

DUDE your performance numbers for the budget ness of the build are dope!

37s are probably the sweet spot for smaller trucks. 39s get really big unless you run BFGs. Clean build, from budget to full build
@Rommer22583 жыл бұрын
@@anthonyolsen9299 the 39" bfg is the same size as the 37" toyo. Brand definitely matters.

i like the 3 piece because when you need to change the oil and under the hood work, you don't need 2 or more people to take the whole front end off.

I just recently bought a 94 Ranger step side, and have been wanting to make it into a weekend off road truck to go onto the beach or out in the desert of eastern Oregon. I just bought 31x10 Wildcat A/T’s for it and getting a lift kit soon. I love prerunner style trucks!!

Yea those seats are freaken dope AF. Purple looks sick. The colors in the logo are him paying homage to his old drift rigs. I like how hes incorporating a JDM aesthetic to the truck.

Speaking of budget, i had a '89 k1500 short bed reg cab. I did some cutting and trimming, bought some really good adjustable shocks and some smaller bypass i think they were like, 2.0 up front. This was 16 years ago "ok boomer" kidding im only 33. Fabbed up some bump stop mounts and with the stock control arms and stock torsion beams with a leveling kit key and McNeil fenders i made 13 inches of travel. Lots of bump steer, it was a experimental thing to see if i could get decent performance out of stupid GM torsion IFS. In all honesty, i got it to actually boogie. Of course torsion is extremely limited because its range of motion is limited. Not a barstow main or moonrocks hill ripper but it took some seriously hard hits jumping shit and i can still walk so, yeah. Where i live there used to be some train tracks which sat like 5-6 feet higher than the street so it was a perfect jump. Then like a 60 foot gap to a small bridge then the road dropped away going down a small steep hill. Swear to god no smaller than a 90 foot gap. It didn't send you high at all, it was on Keystone street in Reno Nevada like 16 years ago. Its all changed now but anyway, id hit that shit going like 80 mph and clear the entire bridge. Just greased that shit. I did that like every other day on my way to work. Eventually the truck got built right but it worked great for a 17 year old kid and i still had my 4 wheel drive so i could make it up to Alpine Meadows on powder days. Sick ass truck man, love the build. Respect stock piling parts too brother, that shit takes will power.
