Good Morning, from Lakewood, Washington USA. It is 6:30 am, I have a nice cup of coffee and a new TerraGermania video to watch. Life is so nice. Thankyou Cheers

Hans, it is quite easy for me to see how comfortable you are in this wonder full forest of leaves fallen fresh from the touch of Autumn's affection. It is pleasing for me to see the rain drops clinging delicately to the flower and the berries, The depth as you invest yourself in to the tiniest of details mixed with the delight in your smile when you unearth a treasure from centuries gone by is absolutely remarkable!

@@stevegreenwood7837 Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me. I do write poetry from time to time when my job allows me. Hans simply has a uniqueness inside him that gives life to poems i have written in years past. Metal detecting appeals to my curious nature along with rock hounding and foraging for edible mushrooms! Take care and be good to yourself wherever you are on this beautiful rock of a planet.🙂

Here in UK i don't detect paths that have been walked on for thousands of years in case i disturb too much ground causing someone to twist or break their ankle. Yes there could be treasure but it's a hobby for me and not a get rich hobby. All the best.
@TerraGermaniaTG2 жыл бұрын
it shouldn't be a problem to detect your paths. just make sure to refill the holes and compress the earth properly. I don't do the hobby for the money, too. I hand over all substantial finds to the department of archaeology and I don't even have a collection at home. best wishes.

I agree with you Hans, the medieval buckle is a fabulous find, its condition is brilliant after all those years in the lane, they are my favourite buckles lol. To find two identical buttons metres apart is intriguing and a person can come up with several scenarios to account for them being there. The piece you found reminded me of a sword guard too, I hope you find out what it is and the hollow button is in great condition too. All the coins from the lane, four more today, I've lost count of how many you've found now. The white flowers at the end were white campion, the pink is rarer I believe. The blackberries reminds me of picking them for my Mum to make jam with, purple stained fingers and clothes lol, but we enjoyed doing it as the jam was delicious lol. I admire the people who leave food and water out for the wild animals and birds, though we have bird flu around here sadly and birdsong is not heard very often now, I miss listening to them. Take care and stay safe please my friend God bless you Hans, love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
