Oh please, don't complain about the snow, as here in Kansas it changed about mid '70's and now we're lucky to get any snow during winter! Deutschland wouldn't be pleasing w/o snow, trust me on that. Because Kris Kringle would have to swap skis for wheels, now that would "kaputs" everything!! Seir Nichs gutt!!!😖 Could the silver piece be a pendant worn on a necklace?? Hans, great day and great finds. An intact buckle is a wow find. Like you I am just over a 30 year most cold winter. The die or printer block, consider it might be a wax seal imprint used to seal letters or documents. Napoleons saber still eludes both of us j see. Got both my Covid shots so that's awesome. What a great set of finds! You say your soil there was frozen but mine here is saturated, causing everything (including me) to get covered in mud. That path looks like it will keep you busy for a long time, me old mucker, and we look forward to seeing what else it gives you. Take care.

The first ring with the gilt can easily be medieval to the 16thC and the silver fragment also has a very old appearance. Maybe the same period as the ring. Great video as always.
