I don't think so. The thing is that doctors who wrote books 50 or 100 years ago criticizing vaccines could get published. I am surprise that someone so in tune with misinformation about medical and anxiety issues would believe in climate change. Yes the climate is changing, as it has for billions of years, but media has misinformed us about the causes, consequences and solutions of that as well. The truth about climate change theory is it's about controlling slave classes so you cannot buy, sell or live with rights, freedoms and working laws protections while they get what they want living off the slave classes. There's also a smaller portion of rulers who want to truly protect the environment and many of them also want total control to do it! Then you have the sanest smaller, but growing portion of people in general who want rights in laws nobody can violate, laws that also protect rights and work only, no extra scams and both protect the earth and transition into more sanity asap. And the best part of it all is that doing this shift in mindset means going from a very negative and fear-full mindset to one that is actually very optimistic - seeing any "illness" as a healing phase that your body demands and that once you go through you will be better and stronger. That's such an optimistic view. I don't even care what "the truth" is, it makes more sense to "believe" in terrain theory than germ theory just because germ theory is all doom and gloom and chasing one's tail and terrain theory is like, ah, that's nice, my body has reached high levels of toxicity, needs to detoxify by high fever, sniffles, cough and all that jazz. Some days later, yay, it's less toxic now. I've had "the flu" once in my life - over 10 years ago now. I think it changed my life forever, in a good way LOL Every "illness" you go through and recover from is a rite of passage. Not everyone recovers. And mourning loss is always wiser than striving for immortality and bleaching your home...

Some parasites are just really harmful and are deadly. But that's parasites and bacteria that are entire beings and can invade our bodies. All I am saying is if I get a cold or flu like symptoms I don't believe anyone "gave" me that illness by contagion. I'm actually hoping for this change to happen sooner especially as whatever was in those Frankenstein concoctions that has yet to be clearly understood, (full list of ingredients, long term effect, anecdotally claimed "mechanism of action") we may end up seeing a significantly large number of tragic deaths in the following years. This tragedy I'm hoping will start waking people up and begin questioning what they're told and take responsibility for their own health through holistic self-care approaches. I'm also expecting there will be a demand for funding health care towards natural and alternative medicine as they should be the primary treatment to mild health problems. Medical treatment should really be a last resort for chronic, severe cases and clinical conditions that require specialised care.

What did really catch my interest was how you disagree that the body is attacking itself in autoimmune conditions. That has always bothered me as a concept from the start. So according to terrain theory it's our environment and what we put into our bodies that cause disease correct? Essentially bad health habits + bad environment = disease? Using terrain theory can it answer these questions? 1) if the above formula holds true as the true cause of disease then why are unhealthy countries like the US not suffering from diseases like Ebola or Malaria? Let's be honest here the US is most likely one of if not the unhealthiest country on the planet right now so why aren't Rabies cases through the roof? When was the last time we saw a large-scale cholera outbreak in the US? We should be overwhelmed with various exotic and rare diseases if the formula holds true but where are they? 2) Similar to number 1 but more in regards to symptoms. If the above holds true why are there no people suffering from black plague symptoms? Has anyone ever seen a massive surge of botulism or Tetanus symptoms in the population? 3) if the above holds true then the only way to eradicate any illness is through a massive overhaul in environment and practicing healthier habits. So how did we get rid of smallpox if our environment and health habits have gone down the drain since we last saw it? The last case was in the 70s. Yet despite our atrocious environment and habits we have NEVER once seen a case since the late 70s. How is that even possible with terrain theory? Hopefully you can provide some logic as all the answers I've received so far fall apart the moment basic logic is applied.

@sithwolf In my opinion, there's the terrain of our environment like clean water and the terrain of our internal environment working together. We saw the effects of the unhealthy internal terrain in America over the last two years while we see the effects of unclean water in malaria endemic regions. The relationship between malaria and the sickle cell mutation is a good example of the long-lasting relationship we have with microbes. Terrain theory doesn't negate illness, it says that the terrain dictates the disease and the disease progress. Both in the individual and in the environment, different environments have different microbes- they mutate to adapt to the world around them.

Is this the same thing as taking a wholistic approach? Not watched it yet as I write this... I'm pretty sure this is the way I was raised and always believed. I can't comprehend how others cannot see it - and yet with that said, I would take medical intervention as a last resort - which to me would be admitting to myself that I had not truly taken proper care of my body/ my temple. On the other hand, some people are born with sickness - possibly handed down from the mother though... hmmm

The truth lies in between but Germ theory is of course more important. Terrain theory makes no sense when it comes to viruses. Viruses are adept at hijacking the cellular mechanism of its host (some bacteria too are obligate parasites). No balance can help you if you are exposed to high enough dose of virus. However, terrain theory becomes reasonable when it comes to bacteria, especially bacteria lining our digestive system. If for example you eat something that contains a substance that is harmful to a colony of habituated and mostly beneficial bacteria in the gut, it can open that region of the gut for colonization by another colony of bacteria that can be harmful and can destabilize the gut other colonies. This can lead to all kind of diseases. Removing the appendix can have disastrous consequences to gut health because it acts as a reservoir of god bacteria. The appendix is not a vestigial structure contrary to belief.
