@NASCompares, Thank you for what you do. I have a Terramaster F2-212 running Plex. I am upgrading to a TerramasterF4-424 Max. I have the Max now, but am waiting for the drive(s) to arrive so no initial power yet. Any tips how to move everything from the F2-212 to the F4-424 Max? With the difference in CPUs and operating system, I can see an issue with simply moving my current drives into the Max. It probably wont work and I'll need to format. I will have a single drive (10TB) in the Max large enough to copy the data from the F2-212 (2x6TB running Traid in 6TB usable config). Drag and drop I will be able to move things, and reinstall Plex, but would loose any watched history. I can live with that as I have no idea if the Plex version running on a ARM vs Intel core i5 are even compatible databases/files.

I can't even get to the Plex Media Server configuration page on my F4-424. It keeps saying the connection is refused and I don't understand why.

Great Video! You talked about setting the Preferred Network Interface for plex to a single ethernet port. What about assigning the other port on the NAS for backups, transfers etc so that when you do those activities they don't use the port you assigned to plex? I am guessing you can do that over in the network settings somewhere?

Great Video, however does I got a problem of not being able to see any files within plex now. I have checked access for application user and it seems to be set correctly (Read/Write). Anyone have any similar issues?

Same here. I’m thinking, I may be wrong, as I’m no comp nerd, but the “User” should perhaps be a “User Group” that includes permissions for Plex app and Super User (admin) account and any friends/family accounts ..?

Anyone have issues updating Plex to the latest media server? I downloaded the TPK from the Plex website and it's not installing from TOS 5.1.

Hello, I have a Terramaster F2-422 NAS and I cannot view (.dng) or (.raw) files. I installed Plex but still have the same problem. You can help?

Is terramaster good for 4k media on plex with a few friends streaming at once?

If you have a Plex user on the Naz from following a different or previous video delete that user, that was my issue

Found a fix. I deleted the Plex user that I created before i installed plex and then I clicked enabled and it worked. Give it a go @mgdew
