Good to see someone actually breaking down the back and forth nature of a fight instead of just acting like the guy that won controlled the whole thing.

Appreciate that. I think these breakdowns help people understand that fights are much more even than they think sometimes . Just helps the untrained eye a bit and everyone gets to learn a bit

underrated fight, they went toe to toe for 10 rounds and towards the end crawford just shifted gears on em

Yea it was an amazing fight . So competitive . I think that diversity of Crawford and the ability to change styles won it for him

Thank you for doing the breakdown I have been doing the same learning from specialists but still learning from specialists in mma as well as individual disciplines
@bradquakeriddell3 ай бұрын
Yea you can learn from specialists in mma for sure . They still come under the category as a specialist. Wrestling from khabib or Gregor , striking from Izzy etc . All valuable

Boxing fan here, this was a great and honest breakdown. If you do any more of these a great one would be Gerald McClellan vs Julian Jackson 1. Breaking down a few of the exchanges from that fight would be interesting. They both had power but it came from different styles.

Never watched the fight so I’m excited too. I’ll add it to the list . I love boxing
@jay-xe3kl3 ай бұрын
@@bradquakeriddell it’s a great fight, they would both undoubtedly be on the P4P hardest punchers in boxing history list if there was one. They generated their power in different ways, regardless of whether you do a breakdown of it you won’t regret watching the highlights of their first fight .

I don’t know too much about MMA but I’ve always found it intriguing how different your punches and boxing punches must be come fight night (given the difference in gloves and wraps). It confuses me seeing some UFC fighters training in boxing gloves &/ shadow boxing as boxers do (with the loose open fist). I’d imagine you guys would break your hand throwing like that no?

You should cover the Tank and Frank Martin fight. Or maybe one of Izzy's fights. I would like if it was one of the more lackluster ones so we can get a grasp on why his fights started ending up that way sometimes.

Very interesting that point of pivoting them into the corner. I will try this haha. Matadoring seems much more efficient than slowly pressuring and cutting off the ring I guess
@bradquakeriddell3 ай бұрын
Yes it worked a couple of times . It looked like Crawford knew he does this and defended it well but it was still awesome

They told Bud in the corner he was down on the unofficial score card then he went out and stopped him in the next round
