@@monkomess8950 Basically imagine if there was a hard cap on how many birds you can have on your head (for example 9). Then devs decide to add a new item that makes the max spawnable minions to 10, they would not only have to code the new item, but also go back to their old code and change the max amount of birds on your head to 10. So imo they just have no cap on the amounts of possible birds on the player head to avoid having to keep touching old code

There are armors and accessories to let you get more than one, but 500 isn't possible without cheats. I believe max is around 9.

I love how the AI of summons work, they always seak out the weak points of an enemy, not the hard points (the head first, eyes next for moon lord, then for the destroyer they SPECIFICALLY targeted the tail, the weak point on it, then they went directly for the real cultist per illusion) redigit did amazing for summon AI
