The Sky After Rain motif actually dated all the way back in June of 2022
It has been changed into something new nowadays, but the original rendition of the motif still sounds pretty good to me and admittedly makes me a bit nostalgic
As such, it was made into the main melody of this track!
And speaking of this track, whew, this is pretty up there as one of my most contentious ones yet
Lots of gross dissonance and pounding drums to really hammer in the horror and panic of facing against WoF, with a heroic sounding yet still frantic climax at the end
Definitely not something some of y'all will like, I imagine

Easily the most unique take on a theme for Wall of Flesh I've heard! Sometimes it sounds disturbing, then aggressive, then melancholic, then triumphant and it's overall just a rollercoaster of emotions. Songwriting and composition is in your blood and it shows!

It sounds mechanical, similar to boss 2. But also adds the classic tempo of a time limit level. Very nice, cool. And it has the motiff of Sky after rain, right? Love to hear soundtracks with references to previous ost ^^

I love how this song fits perfectly with the Wall of Flesh. Once the player drops the guide voodoo doll into lava, A LITERALLY GIANT FLESH WALL has been summoned that is rapidly approaching towards the player. The player soon realizes their mistake and begins to regret their decision on dropping the voodoo doll into lava while feeling hopeless on taking down the wall. The player is left with no option, but to take down the Wall of Flesh to ensure their survival and continue their adventure.

Let's be honest, most of the "dropping the guide voodoo doll regret" comes from accidentally killing that Voodoo Demon, not from actual "omg what have I done, I killed the Guide" XD. And if not, the player's hardly regretting it, because they have prepared themselves for killing the WoF. :D

This song really starts out the gate sounding like a final boss. Also holy hell that is a LOT of references to various songs let me list a few. At the start sounds kinda similar to Catastrophic Fabrications? Maybe also Intellect of the Crimson? Definitely has Maw of the Corruption riddled EVERYWHERE in this song. Storm before the Dawn Sky after Rain? And a couple more I cant quite place, probably Hive mind or Perforators themes though? The actual song starts off pretty forboding and I love the triplets at the start. Always a sucker for minor triplets :P. This song almost sounds like a conglomeration of previous tracks you hear up to that point, with maybe a couple hints here and there of future tracks, but... just offput and almost mishappenly shaped. For a boss like the Wall of Flesh this effect is actually pretty cool considering its a giant amalgam of flesh and whatnot. Anyways that aside I do have to ask. As infernum comes to its closure here soon will you be working for the soundtrack of Eye the World Beyond alongside the rest of the Infernum team? (at least those sticking with Dominic and co). Alright that's it for me keep it up!

It fits very well, at beginning is slow moving with lot of pressure (plus dawn after rain motif sounds desperate and negative) then pressure drops a bit and speed picks up this time this motif is more heroic and positive, and then the ending lot of pressure and speed just like in game, that’s why it fits so well

Sky After Rain has truly achieved motif status. This is roughly on the same level of excellence as Fated Insurrection (The Boss Theme done by Heart Up) This starts slower than any other Wall of Flesh song, highlighting just how atrocious and terrifying it is beyond the rush of another large boss. Then it instantly becomes faster and faster, as if to induce panic and dread, noting how that Wall will keep going and going. You're slowly running out of places to run before it catches up. Then, a moment of advantage, the song turning from the heavy distorted horror to a heroic triumph as the eyes are severed. But that heroism doesn’t last for as long as that Wall stays standing, that sense of impending death and fear looms behind you as it picks up the pace. Amazing work.

Idk why, but i just think wof not very intimidating at all. Maybe its just because its 2d cause all the artwork showcasing wof shows off the body covering the whole screen. The song makes the fight feel a bit more intimidating. Still one of fav bosses in terraria just for the concept. Good job with the theme!
