1:37 the furnace is from dead cells, you upgrade gear and stuff there using cells (a currency in dead cells)

@@aaamogusthespiderever2566 yeah but you can still finish it faster, and the rain can stop without even beating or fighting the king slime so an even bar progress still would be useless/ not completely accurate

@@Adiadi-uj3udum... no. the rain stops if you don't kill 150 slimes (or 75 slimes after defeating king slime at least once in a world) before the event ends naturally. if you kill enough slimes he always spawns immediately, it is not random. I think the original commenter's intention was a progress bar towards *king slime*, not towards the end of the event. so a progress bar would be useful because you could see how many more slimes until you get to fight king slime, and it would just go away if you don't make it in time. I don't think the actual console companies like Nintendo would like that, because you could probably make a mod to get past security features and use homebrew. Not that getting past the security features on those consoles is a bad thing though

Godot is something I’ve wanted to learn how to use. I remember following a tutorial, and while a little complex, I think that’s just because I didn’t know how to code lol. It actually looks very cool.

Hah, I was just talking with a friend learning to use it for a game idea they had. Apparently it's quite good for 2D design. First time I've heard of it and then I see it mentioned again 😂

@@ArcNine9Angel oh yes it is very good for 2D design. If you talked to your friend about they probably already mentioned this, but the way your sprites and backgrounds and stage work is that they’re all different nodes that have other things branching off them. Your tilesheet that you may use for level design, you can take specific tiles used and give them their own collision shapes. If you want a sprite to have collision, you give it the collision node. There’s a ton I don’t know yet, but eventually I’d like to get a good Idea of what everything does. It’s just super easy to organise.

Honestly Re-Logic could have not mentioned anything about Unity and nobody would care that much, it speaks to the company's integrity that they are taking a definite stance on this and encouraging market diversity. It might mot seem like much money on a AAA scale but to small devs $100,000 can help one hell of a lot.

i hope that the item in the right jar is the forge (from DC) because, like in that game, where you can spend cells to increase the rarity of items, it would probably allow us to spend money on it to get better reforges (on tinkerer and drops)

Given the dev focus on making a skyblock seed, if the left item is a placable demon altar, i belive that they may also make a placable version of the golem boss summoner place( i forgot the name)

Technically, the Lihazahrd / Golem Altar is already movable, you just have to use a picksaw to pick it up. And I believe Golem gets enraged if summoned outside the temple, speaking of which, you still need the power cells so you may as well keep it in the temple.

I’m just really really really hoping they add flying carpets as a vanity option for wings or hoverboards. I love the look of flying carpets but getting them early game is a bit of a pain and lategame, they quickly get outclassed.

So in Dead Cells, the jars represent unlocks that hover in the first room you spawn in. They can be either empty, awaiting to be unlocked, filled with an item and it's respective damage color or broken meaning it's disabled. So it might be milestones.

Unity writes , in its own website , that they will only charge this fee in the 2024+ unity editors, so if they dont updgrade the project ( which i dont know what 2024+ will add it might be something big) unity games will not be charged, still a bad move tho
