Also for the reality slicer, you actually don't need to face tank, as long as it's on your screen they instantly get damaged, that's why the destroyer got killed immediately because once it peeked in your screen all of it's segments got attacked simultaneously. It's such a fun and crazy weapon that isn't balanced in any way shape or form which makes it perfect.

Dude my friend and I are doing a thorium playthrough right now and he and I are playing Healer and Bard respectively. All we've learned so far is that both of them are NOT intended for singleplayer use, and all we can really do is buff each other enough to tough out boss fights.

If you decide to rerun it you should do healer and thrower. Me and a friend did that combo and it kicked MEAN ass. I think it took a like 45 seconds to kill Primordials and I could just stand still while ripping them a new one because the healing was so intense

Fun fact: the Scythe of Undoing is a League of Legends reference. It speaks because a Darkin (basically a demon) called Rhaast got sealed in the scythe waiting for the right moment to take over it's owner (league champion Kayn). You can transform into a demon with enough rage because in LoL you can decide to follow the Demon path or the Human path depending on which champions you damage. Love that mod devs do this kind of references between games, it brings fresh air to the experience

Another way to make money is to mine clay in vanilla or buy it in moded and turn it into plates at a furnace and sell it. 2 clay frafts 1 plate wich sells for 40 copper. The architect sells 1 clay for 1 copper. A satck of 9999 clay is 1 gold. You turn 2 stacks of clay into 1 stack of plates and get 39 gold and some change. You end up with net positive of 37 gold. Note: It's slow and annoying, but it ramps up quickly and you can start as soon as you get a furnace and the Architect moves in.

Healer is real strong. I've been doing a Infernum + Thorium co-op run as a healer. Until the last couple of bosses, my partner (who tanks most attacks facefirst) has been basically immortal, which ended up making me the lynchpin. Shame I'm real bad at the game. But the damage made me too afraid to try doing it solo and it absolutely doesn't feel like it was intended for solo play, glad to see Waffle is made of tougher stuff. Once again I recommend he try doing Calamity and Thorium together for a video.

My method of getting money just involves getting an extractinator then buying a stack of silt, for about 75 gold, and then like 5 min later getting 5 platinum out of it. Takes way longer but you also get a lot of ore and gems.
