Alloys are sellable, all of them. I even made a list of what alloy sells for which price. Terreria (Plumbia + Titanin) 228BB Fulmenia (Pb + Rodius) 468BB Bosonia (Pb + Erudin) 588BB Funderia (Pb + Ignitin) 618BB Thermia (Pb + Oleus) 768BB Pennia (Pb + Celestin) 888BB As you see its quite profitable. I set up a big processing plant with refineries and foundries and filter conveyors, which fortunatelly work for me just fine :)

Zisteau, those recievers are not needed , as tractor pads will grab drops on their own. The only thing that those large recievers do that pads don't is grab dropped parts; they also won't give items to other recievers, which is what causes a lot of your lag when transitioning items to your resource refining and selling. Tractor Pads also won't give items to other pads.

+Kain Yusanagi You are right. But in my opinion the receivers help that the drops don't get stuck under the tech so easily, because they are picked up in front of the tech already. I ended up using a similar design, I even use lines of conveyers to move the dropt to tractor pads on the back of the tech. And they provide additional storage space while looking not to bad, too.

ThePetaaaaa The large tractor pads have a huge range that makes the recievers pointless for the use he's putting them to, and with his design he only needs to replace the recievers with more tractor pads.

ThePetaaaaa If they were the basic pads, yes, but the range on the large pads is enough that it won't be a problem so long as he doesn't make it so that it's one in the middle and two on either side, but two to each side of the middle, four-wide.

+Kain Yusanagi I like a conveyor down the middle, with a receiver at the front, so the conveyors feed the tractor pads. Only need one big receiver that way. Currently the receivers do not grab blocks, it has been changed. If Zisteau needed lots of Plumbia to make alloys, he could just buy GSO single blocks and put them through a scrapper for plumbia ore. But right now you have to manually feed items into the system so that is a bit annoying.

+Zisteau for the crafting centre, you can make something like a circle using conveyor blocks. 2 blocks width and like 20 blocks length. On the top of it you can put receivers, and for the rest "body" of this circle you can put refineries with cannons. Or you can also connect this refineries using conveyor line at the end of which will be stationary cannon what can sell much more blocks.

One thing to watch for, I had a base where I spaced out separate 'buildings', and they ended up moving. I guess there's an in-game bug where anchor points can drift downhill. If you want things to stay spaced (like your unloading point), keep them connected with a high bridge (not too tedious with 3x or 4x blocks. It has the bonus of looking pretty cool, with the downside that if an enemy AI targets it, you can lose half your base at once :) Other than that, make sure you have lots of space between buildings and try to plan for possible drift of your fixed anchors.

Hey Zisteau, why not leave those little bases you randomly run into around the map with just a solar panel and a wireless charger attached. Might be handy having remote charging stations sprinkled around, and if they get attacked its no big deal if you lose them.

Hey, Zisteau! Don't forget about the Step Conveyors! You're making everything flat (shades of Factorio, I suppose) but there is no reason you can't make 3D structures. I have a factory floor, as a small experimental alloy-production one, where you actually drive the tech UNDER the receivers. There's probably a lot of different setups you can make where the conveyors or refineries are layered atop one another. This way you could have the receiver bay output have two or three as many refineries.

With this reverse steering, it can be turned off in the options, however if you turn the camera around so that you are facing straight backwards relative to the cab, so that going backwards takes you forward, try steering and you'll see why it's an options that's nice to leave enabled, love the videos Z

Is there a reason for using drills over weapons? I switched to weapons only for my harvesters, because weapons are much faster at 'mining' than drills. Furthermore they don't need direct contact and even can get rid of smaller enemy techs easily.

If you make walls or pillars that support a roof, will the trees still grow back? If not, a roof or overhead lattice might be a good idea for your garages.

Z, the fix for the Filter conveyors is you have to attach them to an anchored block. I have done this successfully in my world. If you buy them from the station then immediately attach to your refinery station or whatever, the game shouldn't crash.

If I was going to do a Tech designed for massive DPS that could hold its own against the speedy vehicles I would take a note from the East India Trading Company and do broadsides. Long and lean with cannons running along either side and more maneuverable guns mounted high and in the middle. Of course if I was going to go that route I couldn't see why the game wouldn't allow me to build a cavity in the larger tech in which I could park a smaller tech inside of it. I can't see how the game wouldn't let me swap between the two.

zisteau remember when you said "The trees have not respawned", well a few seconds after that you can actualy see one respawning in the background. You said this ^ at about this time, 15:20, then the tree respawns in the backgroound at about 15:25

dunno if you do this in a later video, or even if you read these comments, but this is my idea. you do the same drive in technique, except you make it longer, and have it go: the big recievers are what you drive inbetween, then its the conveyers then the fabricators, then the selling cannons. except they dont switch off at all. each collector grabs the stuff as you drive through and you just gather as it refines/sells

There seem to be fixed respawns. I've had trees grow back on a refinery system a few times (some breaking and dumping wood into my system at bad places) before I moved my setup.

at 11:55 your worry about adding more receivers what you need to do is add a buffer zone a completely different anchor point next to only one receiver of your processor plant. this tech will have two to four receivers and a group of tractor pads and will pull all you oar off the tech then the processor plant will pull from the buffer. if this is unclear ill post pics

Zisteau is going to start uploading Cities: Skylines now, and I'm guessing Etho is going to put more time into his Minecraft single player let's play series. Otherworld is totally different game, my friend. It's a standalone, of one, not an update, and it's a different art style, different play style, and has different end goals. Ugh Z...you should not have receivers on vehicles....tractor pads do all the pick-up and holding for vehicles, receivers are specifically for pulling items off tractor pads....I really hope you read this and get a bit wiser to how it works so you can make more efficient machines!
