Awesome review. I have a 200ml bottle of the Parfum that's about to run out, and for this whole time I thought it was the regular EDT. It's one of my most favourite fragrances of all time in an almost 170 bottle collection, and my mind was blown when I finally realized what I had was in fact not the EDT. The last minute of the review perfectly encapsulates what I'm going through. I loved the Parfum, bottle is about to finish, went online to buy a new one, and now I'll be going for the EDT as I want a bit of that dirtiness to be amped up. Thanks for this, was very helpful.

@@dankkush1159 To be honest, I don't like it as much as the Parfum. It is a bit lighter and hence more versatile, but the flint note can sometimes come off as too 'dirty' on skin. In the air it smells really good. It's still a great fragrance but I would personally go for the Parfum and wear it when the weather is colder. It's rounder, fuller, doesn't come off as 'smoky' and dirty. I never ever hesitate or second guess myself on the Parfum if the weather is appropriate, whereas with the EDT I do sometimes go 'Eh maybe not today'

I have both. I disliked it 2 y ago, but recently tried it and I was wowed by it. I bought edt immediately and parfum a week later. You can't go wrong with neither. After you finish one you can decide with which one are you going to continue. Both are masterpieces.

Love the wet soil and fresh orange smell. It really is very different from anything else on the market.

Good review! For me, EDT (the only one i've experienced) smells like an expensive barbershop. It's like when you go to a posh barber, get a cleanup and then walk out ready to make millions.

Great description of the subtle differences. You've gone beyond a simple scent comparison. I've read that, in general. EDT can project more than EDP, often at the expense of longevity. So that may be another distinction between the two. I own the EDT and am very happy with this blind buy. I was a little hesitant to buy the EDP version, as the price was pushing my budget. I ordered Rasasi Fattan EDP, which is said to be close to TDH EDP. Might be redundant, but for the price and the opportunity to experience a different take on this interesting DNA, it's worth a shot. i got a sample of the parfum. i absolutely love it. but i literally cannot buy it anywhere near me. thinking of buying the edt but i havent smelled it before.

yeah, EDP is more rounder ... i have EDT for years and still it´s not my thing ... i wanna switch into EDP

Great review. Thanks. One thing to note though, It's the Parfum you're referring to, not the EDP. Terre D'hermes does not come in EDP concentration.

The ‘Pure Parfum’ is actually an EDP concentration....

Yes it does actually. The Eau Intense Vetiver is the EDP.

If you dont like Terre D Hermes all you have to do is walk behind someone who is wearing it. Then you'll get it. All your doubts will disappear within seconds.
