Almost. A teammate was always picking on another one, so I told him I would give him what he was looking for and it ended at that point. But I've seen other teammates go at it a few times in the locker room. Fights on the practice field are usually about football, in the locker room it's personal.

@iron islam Right. But you are emotinally wired very differently. In the exact same way that you are wired and it is effortless for you to take the criticism lightly due to your optimistic nature or good sense of humor and all the things that are normal for you based off of your genetics and home life before you were even conscious, someone else, without thinking stores those words and that pain in the back of their mind, maybe without even realizing it, because that's what they were taught to do before they were conscious. You basically just explained it yourself. You said for the life of you, you never understood how people could carry getting bullied in their childhood well up until they're adulthood becaause the way that YOU process information naturally is the exact opposite of that. And for someone raised in a more rough environment or with different figures to model their mental state after, they would find it equally hard to understand how someone (you) could get bullied or have someone spit in their mouth as a kid and NOT fight or lash out in retaliation. It is very hard to understand the thought process of someone who has an entiiiiirely different way to triage decision-making, relationships and life from you.

Except what you said is literally not true, the problem is some of you Philly area people with that you like to put it through rose-tinted glasses but everybody else remembers the fact that he was a major distraction that entire off season. Starting with the driveway workout where he threw shots at the team and continued to do so, publicly. Don't try to say it was Donovan being buddy-buddy because Andy Reid was the coach and GM and that was the only player he's ever suspended That's why the majority of the fan base was happy that he got suspended.

Electric E Owen's had a massive ego as well, was it McNabb who got into fights with coaches mainly Brad Childress? Was it McNabb who criticized the organization for not celebrating his 100th touchdown in a TEAM sport. No it was Owen's and his massive ego and he admitted himself that at that time he wasn't as humble as he could have been. But he did the same thing in Dallas and that's why they released him. He was a great player but he also is a narcissist. Donovan wasn't perfect and he could have done things differently as well but if your talking egos you don't need to look further then T. O. himself.

For a normal person he's a specimen, but 10 years ago he couldnt even make a CFL roster. Even though he had a HoF career, seeing him recently running on the track makes me wonder how good he really must have been in his prime.

Hugh Douglas had (has) anger issues. He wanted to fight Michael Smith on ESPN and lost his job because of it. He also got into it with me a few years ago on Twitter when all I did was suggest he and another brother not talk a certain way to each other on social media, because it painted us in a bad light.

You don't know how a change in attitude effects your game but if T.O. could've maintained but controlled that passion he would own just about every receiving record in Pro Football. It's like Rodman in the NBA, no one trained or partied harder but can you imagine if he eleminated the partying. We would be talking about his as maybe the top PF to ever play the game. For as great as he was defensively he never worked on his offense and never had a play run for him.
