Jordan, Kobe, Lebron. Only two players of the three were feared by their opponents and we all know that aint Lebron.
@mobetta20923 жыл бұрын
You don't think LeBron's feared? You're sadly mistaken...the man had that entire Raptors Team shook, Gilbert Arenas led Wizards, Celtics, Clippers, Bulls (in his prime, Derrick Rose famously said LeBron was a problem because he could do everything that he could, except he was much bigger and stronger), and even the Pistons early in his career after what he did in the 4th quarter of that 2007 series...they never recovered to date. The list could go on.

@@Mercurial. Yeah the regular fans that know basketball love Kobe for his competitiveness and skills. It’s just the media has a lot to do with Colorado and even before that

No one is downgrading kobe. Yes he had the drive, heart, competitive and skills but Jordan just had all that kobe possessed with a bit more talent. Jordan was quicker, had bigger hands had a better first step, jumped higher, played defense at a higher level and was more creative with the basketball. There is no shame coming in second to jordan but Jordan was just on another level. Jordan played 15 seasons. you can discount 2 seasons with the wizards. 1 season where he broke his foot. one season where he he came back late from retirement. In 11 full seasons, he led the league in scoring minus his rookie year where he still scored 28ppg and won 6 titles in that span. You will never see a more dominant run where he won 2 back to back three peat in a 7 year span. Its like asking Brady to win 6 superbowls in 7 years. Brady needed 21 seasons to even surpass jordan's 6 titles. Thats basically a whole decade to win one more title than jordan. No one can compare to Jordan during his hey day, its just that simple

Jordan lifted his teams so much just because they all knew, if pushing comes to shoving number 23 could take over the 4th quarter and win against any opponent. Incredible that there is still a debate. I don't think anyone who saw him in his prime night in and night out is debating that he is the GOAT. I watched a lot Bulls games back then. You watched as many games as you could, because any night he could go ballistic out of nowhere and do something very special. Nobody wanted to miss those games.

@orkahn313 жыл бұрын
Shannon too many former players keep trying to tell you that Jordan was a different player than Lebron. Jordan wasn’t a better rebounder, or passer because his role was to be a closer/finisher. A prime Jordan was just that much better because of his indomitable will! That’s not something on a stat sheet or that analytics could ever measure.

If Larry Bird could have sustained his dominance for 7 seasons and produced 6 titles, I would give the goat title to him. I never have seen a player dominate with out needing out jump his opponent. He only needed an inch of separation to get his shot off, it was magical watching bird play. But he played in an era where he faced tough as nails opponents in Dr. J, Magic, Kareem, Isiah and even Jordan. Jordan gets the nod because he produced two back to back three peats in a seven year span.
