milk steak To be completely honest, it is amazing for the first few years if you move from the mainland or anywhere else, and it’s an amazing retirement place or to just get away. But if you are kid growing up or have kids growing up their whole lives here, it can be incredibly boring and disheartening. The majority of the infrastructure here sucks, atleast in the big island, a majority of it is nothing but lava flats and tropics, there are no good career opportunities other than the tourism industry, the schools and quality of education sucks. Its why a majority of kids leave the islands as soon as possible. It is a paradise, but if you think about the fact that there are no sustainable careers for most people, that rent and cost of living is almost if not one of the most expensive places to live in the US, as a young adult it does get to you.

Honestly, i am not trying to justify what Fed did, what he did was fucked up and that is something that won't change cause what's done is done, however hearing him talk about his childhood explains a lot of why he became so lonely and his thought process being off, he didn't seem to have the best childhood and that really affected him a lot growing up especially the loneliness. With that being said i am still not trying to justify what he did or give excuses, i am just pointing out the things that may have caused him to be this way, i really do hope Fed manages to better himself for his own good and everyone else around him.

Absolutely! I thought my childhood was slightly less than average but in reality it was incredibly fucked. Mental, physical, and sexual abuse, abandoned by mom, family committing suicide, inhumane living conditions, family doing drugs, being asked if I would just die by a family member, going into foster care, being abused there, and a whole bunch of other stuff. But I also don't hold anything against all of the people that caused me pain.

Agreed, it's much more natural and doesn't seem planned out and or "fake". No script, no rehearsal, no plans or BS. Just a casual conversation between friends telling stories and experiences that they can all compare, relate and learn from. It's fun and refreshing. I want more of this here and on everything. Being professional and sticking to a script makes things easier, streamlined and faster for a more efficient and higher quality product in most industries with big companies showing serious information and work, but for things like this, the more casual and at home feel is much more inviting and interesting to me is all.

Listening to this podcast really helped me realize a lot about myself. I still don't really understand what I want to do with my life, but it gave me perspective on how other people viewed their childhoods as I am living mine. I kinda cried as you guys talked about high school and all the *feels*. It felt so relatable. I'm failing all my classes, I don't really have the motivation to do anything, all I do is game and draw. Solo Q League 24/7, pulling all nighters every other night. Especially with the current Coronavirus keeping me physically away from school, it's been hard to mentally focus on the things I need to do. I really let myself go. But despite me knowing all this I still can't bring myself to do any of my work. It's really frustrating and ironic. People have pushed "depression" on to me like a label, but to me it just sounds like an excuse. I don't like that. But I also don't face the truth, which is I just fucking hate school. I'm just scared that everyone will be disappointed the moment I admit that.

Bruh when fed talked about soccer and loving it but it being forced on you, i felt that. Im a junior in highschool right now and have played soccer for 8 years and loved every second but i dont care about playing in college but my parents consider that quitting, even though i still want to play up until i graduate and even after recreationally. Theyre forcing me into all these college camps to get recruited and i absolutely despise soccer right now. This one season ive skipped more practices and games cus of how disgusted soccer makes me feel, like i cant even enjoy it anymore. Ive skipped more practices this season than i have ever in all the years ive played and i just dont give a shit anymore about soccer which kills me but at the same time it kills me to play it to cus of what my parents want despite what ive told them
@raionshishi82905 жыл бұрын
Yea sometimes they don't get it is all, it's not about what they want or they did or have done or want us to try and see if we like it or not, we can decide that on our own and we can just to do what we want on our own, if we want advice and or help we will ask for it, or even ask us if we need any help if we don't have the confidence to ask, but never force it or do it before we decide what we want.

i was in the same exact position as you in highschool but it was my teammates and coach that kept texting me and pushing me to go to practice. but i was still varsity all 4 years and enjoyed playing soccer everyday after school with friends. i dont think the love for the sport is gone for you but maybe its just the love for playing it competitive. good luck man

Here’s some advice as someone that played extremely competitively since elementary school, won state championships, and played a year of soccer in college before quitting. If it’s something that you don’t like but you feel you’re being forced into it, just don’t take it so seriously. At the end of the day, it’s just a stupid game that is supposed to be played for enjoyment so even if you don’t like the game itself you can at least go out and use it as time to have fun with friends.

Your current skill depends on 2 things: 1) How much time you've practiced 2) How good has your practice been If you practice as much as other people, but aren't as good, then it probably means your practice method is not as good as it could be. Practicing the wrong way hurts you a lot in the long run. You build bad habits that are hard to break, and they hold you back for a long time. In my experience, it is more valuable to research how to do the thing "the right way" than to just rack up practice time.
