TERRIBLE LEGO Investments in 2024 - I'm (Mostly!) Skipping These Sets. [Star Wars, Marvel, Disney]

Couple of points Tenoo Jedi Temple. The three minifigs will carry that set in the secondary. Adults wont buy the set but completionists will buy the minifigs at some point. At 18$ I picked up some and I plan on selling just the minifigs after a year. Chewbacca. I seriously doubt we will get anymore build able characters that are not droids after everyone clowned on it and sales were bad N1 micro fighter. The Mando minifig is the updated one with extra helmet print so people will buy for that especially if we don't get many more sets from the show as it's been promoted to movie status. Pirate Snub Fighter has exclusive figs that will not be released again. Stormtrooper mech same thing has the best stormtrooper Lego has released to date Now I do think the hold time will be a bit more than others but it's all food for thought. Last thought because everyone is saying don't invest, pass, ect means won't be many that have a copy and fans will want to complete the collection they start. I'm probably completely wrong with all of that but I'm rolling the dice

I got 26 Jedi Temples from Walmart on $5.00 Clearance. Immediately took 20 of them to my local lego reseller and sold them for $15 a piece. Yeah, them things are selling like snails at Walmart. I guess my local Walmart's algorithm decided the shelf space wasn't worth it!

Thanks for another great video! I completely agree with your thoughts on these sets. Glad to see you are coming around on the Star Wars Mechs! Lol… Kids loved building the mechs and have continued to play with them. So I think there could be good demand for them both from kids as well as collectors. Looking forward to the next video. Hulkbuster is intriguing. There is an amazing alternate build for it (using all the same parts), and 50% Black Friday discount is possible. Chewbacca hot take - I think it will be popular when it retires. Especially if they make a C3P0, it becomes part of a “set.”

It’s star lords mask not helmet it’s suppose to have an open top for his hair it’s a mask with super goggles 🥽 etc . I think it looked really good first time I’ve seen it . Don’t want it tho 😅

I bought 5 of the mandalorian n-1 micro fighter for 5.80. Hoping to get a couple more at that price and thinking that i could sell for 20 at that price. Also I am excited actually to see how the Bo Katan does.

I'd like to see more Formula 1 cars. Since Lewis Hamilton is moving to Ferrari next year, I have no desire to get the W14 Mercedes car. Plus he hated that car anyway.

I haven’t seen you make any mention of the Lego 42150 Monster Jam Mutt Dalmation sets. I’m pretty sure it’s up for retirement this year and the other Monster Jam is up for retirement as well. I figure at the right price I’d buy them.

I agree...right price, me too! But yeah, nobody's mentioned them at all this year in all the other videos I watch, so they don't get discussed in my videos. @@kdxbricksanalytics I love both of them! But I think if I had to choose one I'd go for the Emperor's throne room... The throne room represents one of the best and most iconic scenes from the movies .... While I think the endor speeder chase is more appealing to the eye
