Crazy how great a 2 million dollar movie can look. Hollywood spend 200 million and you can't see where the heck it's gone other than actor and producers over inflated pay cheques. Thank god the director didn't let mainstream Hollywood get hold of the franchise. Part three would have probably been a courtroom drama about Arts murder trial while he gets gang graped in prison and Vicky sings and dances around in the background.

Horror has gotten pretty interesting in the last half of 2024. Hopefully, you will cover The Substance and V/H/S Beyond next.
@StitchedTogetherPictures2 ай бұрын
I thought about doing The Substance, but there wasn't a theatre close by that was playing it.
Damien said he originally wanted to set the film on Christmas of the same year as Terrifier 2, but Elliott Fullam (Jonathan's actor) grew a bunch since they shot the last movie, so he wrote in the five year time jump to explain the growth. Also, the Pale Girl and the demon possessing Vicky are technically one in the same. She took the shape of that little girl from the news article in T2 to become the Pale Girl, then possessed Vicky after she gave birth to Art's head.
@StitchedTogetherPictures2 ай бұрын
Yeah. I read it in an interview yesterday. Basically both kids aged out. Little Pale Girl became Vicky and for Jonathan they set the movie back 5 years. Which is funny because to me he still seems really young. Like one year probably would’ve been fine.

TERRIFIER 3 is a splatter house spectacle of the highest caliber. So brutal that Hollywood companies wanted to tone down the violence as discussed during meetings with Damien Leone. He rejected the cowardly condition and found better companies to help create his visionary saga. Thanks to no censorship Damien has redefined horror movie history.

I saw this with my old movie theater buddies and we all had different views. In my opinion, this is the second best in the Terrifier series just behind Terrifier 2. I would prefer they don’t expand on Art’s background and keep it a mystery. However, I love all the work and practical effects. Art is awesome as always and Sienna is a great modern day final girl. My big complaint was the off screen kill (if you’ve seen it you know what I mean) my favorite kill scene was the Santa Claus torture scene.
@StitchedTogetherPictures2 ай бұрын
Agreed! I'm wondering if it's a fake out death. It's an important character to kill offscreen. However, I understand they wanted to have a twist. If I were them I'd start part 4 with a flashback of Art killing that character. I feel the actor/character earned it. I mean, if you're in a Terrifier movie wouldn't you want a horrible death onscreen?

I just finished watching this movie and the review is right on point. The practical effects are awesome, like really really well done. The script and character development left a lot to be desired and the 5 year time jump was a bit weird. Overall I think Teirrifier 2 was better because it had better character development and emotion while the effects and gore were just as good. Honestly nothing in Terrifier 3 topped Allie's death scene in 2. Since Leone has confirmed there will be a 4th we'll have to wait and see how that one plays out. Maybe an Easter movie?

I think it’s all about shock value. You could take all of our familiar horror villains, much less a clown, and have them do what this guy does. He’s yet another invincible killer who will only be done in when the well dries. I enjoyed movies like The Prowler, The Burning and My Bloody Valentine because it showed normal people (abnormal, rather) can be just as scary and seemingly unstoppable once they begin their rampage. You can’t shoot them in the head or vital organs too early or it’ll end the movie. The villains have to be stealthy, cunning and use the darkness to their advantage. Very glad the movies I listed didn’t have sequels. Where have the 80’s gone?

@StitchedTogetherPictures omg...it's like a dream come true for any fan of the movie that wanted serious and detailed answers about the final shot of the Aztec pyramid with all the wrecked cars in the back of the Titty Twister. I'm going to suggest you skip forward to the first episode at the Twister, unless you really want to see the Gecko brothers backstory and many heists, which is supremely entertaining but I'm assuming you want to get to the vampires, which you DO. 😉 I suggest starting your watch AT the Twister, maybe one episode before, and then go back and watch the early episodes later. One more thing: Jake Busey plays Sex Machine as a sleazy archeologist, wannabe Indiana Jones type. Also, and I know this is blasphemy, but THIS Santanico is actually hotter than Salma Hayeck AND a great character in her own right. I've watched your show for years now and I think I know your taste. This series has Evil Andy written all over it.

It was on Netflix a while ago, probably still is or you can just rent it on KZbin.

My favorite sequel. Hard to say what my favorite kill was, as it was a tie. Excited for the fourth film.

Mine would have to be either the Santa scene or chainsaw shower scene.

Yeah, it is funny in a way how Art the Clown destroyed another Killer Clown in the Box Office. As for me, I got to get caught up on this franchise before I see it, but it's on my To Do List. Anyways, I enjoyed this. Thank you, Andy.

While I haven't seen much of the Terrifier series yet, this review is my final straw for me wanting to start watching. Art looks like a fun character! Glad Ice Nine Kills made a song for it! I love these reviews so much. I especially love your humor! Also I adore the skits! I could watch a whole film with y'all three! Thank you so much for he video! (Spoilers for the video) Also, Art pulled a Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 on ya XD

Art the Clown is the silent movie love child between Charlie Chapman and Max Shreck's Nosferatu.

I'm a fan and greatly enjoyed Terrfier 3. I do feel it was a bit light on the Art antics in comparison to the previous movie but it still offered some scary good laughs and gross out gore. I also appreciate how earnest a slasher film this is, no meta/self-aware genre winking and it's not another homage/retro throwback to 80's slashers (though it has plenty of that in its DNA), just a straight brutal gore fueled slasher film powered by the charisma of it's horror villain. Another thing that is really special about this film is that this is one of the first times I remember where an UNRATED horror film got such a wide release in major theater chains. I remember a time where the big 5 theater chains would freeze out any film that was unrated which forced a lot of indie horror films to either butcher their edits to get an R rating from the MPAA, or have extremely limited releases and/or go straight to video. But in the current climate, studios and theater chains are desperate for movie goers and decided to let Terrfier run loose once it became clear there was an audience for it. I really hope this is a sign of change and we see a new wave of unrated, uncensored horror films from passionate indie directors.

Idc for Terrifier but im glad we have a new icon for horror (no matter what tik tok tells you M3gan is NOT a horror icon) and its nice having a slasher be relevant even if its for hardcore fans. Ggs as always Andy

Thank you! Yeah I don’t think doing a silly dance for ten seconds makes you a horror icon in regards to M3GAN.

I honestly wonder if the marketing budget was higher than the actual budget. $2 million is lower than I'd have guessed.

Word of mouth and convention appearances I’m sure has really helped these movies as well.
