i put off watching terrifier 2 for the LONGEST time because i wasn't a huge fan of the first one but the sequel ended up being WAY more interesting and kinda fun. i totally recommend, would love to see you react to it. :)

I hated the first movie so much that it took quite a bit of convincing to watch the sequels and I'm glad I did. I felt like the first one was trying to be fun, but it has such an obvious misogynistic aspect to it that it's really just upsetting. You can see it in people's faces when they watch it. Nobody's enjoying themselves. Plus on top of all that grossness it has no plot, no characterization, and the ugliest looking color filter I've ever seen. That the series actually turned into something really good is a bit of a miracle.

So here's the truth directly from the writer and director Damien Leone himself. On the audio commentary for this movie he clearly says that Art the clown is a normal human with nothing supernatural about him in any way shape or form. In the beginning of the movie that being when Tara and Down first see him. He is a normal human with nothing supernatural about him in any way shape or form. Then at the end when Art put the bullet through his head it officially killed him permanently 100 percent dead. That wird electrical stuff in the morgue was a supernatural force resurrecting Art back from the dead. Then an only then after that supernatural force resurrected Art back from the dead. Did Art become supernatural because Art does nothing supernatural in this entire movie. Damien Leone said that all the injuries he took up till the bullet. Are all nonfatel injuries that every day real people actually survive in real life. Then it took a supernatural force that being the wird electrical stuff in the morgue. To resurrecte him back from the dead that is the solid facts from Damien Leone himself the writer and director an creator of Art the Clown. So everything you heard is just stuff that people that don't do actual research. Like listening to audio commentaries an watch bonus features an things like that. Say so its not true because Damien Leone wrote an directed an created Art the clown. Says the complete opposite on the audio commentary for the movie.

The Terrifier are genuine indie horror breakout films. The first film was made just for around $55k. But the sequel is not just better than the first film and has so much plot and character development, it was made through an indiegogo campaign with a final budget of $250k but made an j redouble $15 million return in theaters. It was only meant to be in theaters for 1 week but due to the success and popularity it kept gaining an audience and the was incredibly successful. If you can stomach it, I would highly recommend you watch the sequel. It not only is objectively better because it looks and sounds better, it had a main lead you can get behind and adds more lore and depth to the world and Art the Clown. Hope you see it.

The reason he takes the men out quicker is because men are more of a threat kf not snuck up on, because hes not strong...well atleast in this film. The reason he did what he did to her friend was because of what she did in the pizza place, which is why he mimicked her little nose tap before using the saw. I also think since slasher films always have a final girl that prevails they like to toy with the female characters as a performance which usually by the end of.the film is what costs them to "die" or "lose" for lack of a better term. It's why in halloween the original he doesn't kill her and misses his attacks when.the rest of the people he encountered he had no issue at all killing them. Or it's just because this movie is low budget and wanted to put more into the performance than just quick straight up kills on characters that matter. But it's mostly the slasher trope of the final girl which halloween started and is also the reason almost all slashers have nudity in.them as well. Slashers pretty much made their genre on the halloween 1 formula.

Just wait until you do the second. It’s much better (albeit a bit long). The acting and overall quality may not be the best, but it was also crowdfunded on a $35,000 budget. The director, Damien Leone, also did the effects (his background), writing and editing. It’s basically a love it or hate it series. I’m in the former category. why gotta make this about men and women thing? This is the first I heard from a commentary that a killer should be equal to how he kills men and women. This is so fcking bizarre. Also, he literally made a pumpkin head with the guy that threw him out of the pizza place and show it to his employee who he murdered slowly as well. He murdered more men than women in this movie. He killed 5 men and 3 women so IDK how and why would this make him appear like some sexist.
