I have to say that travelling with your husband and best friend Anika is the best way to enjoy adventure biking. To be able to enjoy the scenery, the roads, dinner and sleeping in tents etc is so rewarding and heart warming it makes something that's quite exhausting, thrilling fun and exciting! It's the reason why I feel so sad for Noraly and Kinga riding on their own and not enjoying their adventures with someone special. ❤

Very well done team! This really is quite an achievement I take my hat off to you all. I take an extra hat off to Anika for some great footage and hopefully didn't suffer baboon bum on the Honda. This was brilliant. After just watching this video I have an odd longing for sleep. Many thanks for sharing.

Not sure how many can understand the stress from not sleeping for long hours and then riding. When I was younger I worked 2 - 30 hour shifts then at 7:30 a.m. rode home ( only 40 miles) but halfway I fell asleep, luckilly falling over, the motion woke me up and I managed to keep my bike verticle. The main problem was I had amnesia when I came to and had to ride about 20 miles to figure out where I was, where I was going....strange occurance i dont care to revisit.

Hi Vanessa, really enjoyed watching the three of you do the Alps... I own Custard now. 🙂 may catch up with you guys at the ABR festival if I can fit it in... Oh and I found a little stone from your journey hidden in the bike. 🙂 Will follow on FB too.

I really hope you are able to ride custard out to ABR, super excited to put that sticker and signature on it hehe.. I hope you kept the pebble 😉

I'd love to ride there early in the morning. And in the evening twilight. But during the night? Not for me. Can't enjoy the scenery. But you all seem to have fun! That's what counts. Happy days, Günter/Nürnberg

It is a very different sensation riding at night, you still get some scenery but just a very different view of it to what you would in the day time!

Being able to fall asleep everywhere is a skill of its own. 😊 A one I don't poses which has its pros and cons. I guess if you two Emmas had been along, this would have been your best ever besties outing, right? 🤗

She was on my CRF450RX rally bike, some parts were definitely more suited to that bike but the road parts were a little tiresome on her bottom haha 🙈 don't tell her i said that hehe

what is the total cost of somthing like this ? the entry fee to the rally is one thing but then there is getting the bike there and back, hotels, food, fuel and so forth
@TheGirlOnABike7 ай бұрын
that is very dependant on where you will be travelling from, if from the UK it is not overly expensive at all, a few tanks of fuel to drive the car and trailer down there, the ferry crossing cost and one nights accomodation, it is a great event being so close to the UK

Yikes. I'm so sorry to hear that. Yeah I haven't had any issues with the Pan thankfully. I've probably done about 6000km

19:45 holy cow you are in Piedmont, one of the culinary capitals of Italy, and couldn't find anything better than pringles, packet cheese and chorizo which is not even Italian??? that's a bit sad. Any local town would have had fresh local produce to die for. Other than that.... love the vids ;
