It's incredible how much lions do care for their cubs. Considering how harsh lion society really is, when it's their own cubs, the males really do want their sons to have a good start in life before they are exiled to begin their journey onward and continue their father's legacy. They could have easily taken that kill from their boys for themselves, but watching them sit there and ensure that other predators don't harass their meal is astounding. The amount of parenting that comes from these beautiful cats is inspiring.

some info about the male lions: lipstick and blackie used to be in a coalition of 4 brothers named the 4KM BOYZ. sadly, they got in a fight with the 5 notch boys and 2 died. only lipstick and blackie survived. they ruled the topi plains pride for almost 7 years and sadly, lipstick passed away to a fatal hip injury last year. blackie hasn’t been spotted since May 2018 and he probably passed away too. lipstick was the dominant one of the 2

Lipstick died in 2018, and Blackie was forced out due to new males taking over the territory. The Bila Shaka (aka 6 pack) coalition took over the Topi pride (aka Rhino Ridge pride). Some of the cubs died during the takeover. Very sad, but it's the way of lions.

I was in Masai Mara and it’s another world, seeing the lion just walking in front of you, or going to hunt early in the morning, it’s incredible, we even saw a lion hide in some bushes to take a nap (we knew the lion was there and we spent 1 hour looking for it, until we saw him go out and we followed him until he went back again)

I can believe that. Never been a barmaid myself but one of my fave pursuits is watching males and females in action around clubs, bars etc and all their manouevres. Very amusing.The way the girls act so uninterested whilst subtly, surrepticiiusly checking out the male "talent" and assessing their female competition or the rest of the feminist "sisterhood" during such girls' nights out. And the way the superstuds swagger and strut around attracting attention to certain male anatomical attibutes...Pretending to great their mates, when there is only one potential mate they are really interested in. The one with the boobs and vagina she pretends to hide under skin tight shiny top and short tight skirt or pants that leave nothing to speculate about...Then they get up to dance and shake their thang... Just like in that famous Prince song, you know the one? You sexy m....f..., Go shakes that a..." Etc etc. So funny to watch all this. Not many jobs where you can be entertained as you get paid. Bar tending, hospitality and playing/singing in bands in such bars and clubs is one of these.
