The dragon raids are when the dragons escape the dark sea and raid villages and stuff, Vetex is not gonna add dungeons that you fight the same 3 npc’s until the boss and if he does it’s gonna be implemented in a different way

Maybe a dungeon like the Stormwall dungeon in Arcane Reborn where you scale up a huge tower to fight Prometheus and you fight mini bosses along the way with unique movesets and have some parkour to do. I feel like it would be really nice

You know how dragons have mutations, it would be crazy if the blood ritual gives you the mutations of that dragon. VETEX PLZ COOK THAT UP. also make it so you can read the mutations before you do the ritual.

Woah, thank you so much for spilling all the tea!!! I'm not great at the combat in AO, but fighting dragons still sounds exciting! AND it makes sense since Greek Mythology is so rich with mythic creatures!! As a girly girl who has always loved mermaids and fairies, I'd also love to see nymphs added to the game in the future, since nymphs are very prominent in greek mythology! The most I know about the nymphs in Greek Mythology are the 50 Nereid sisters, whom are the 50 daughters of Nereus and Doris. They are often seen accompanying Poseidon, and Amphitrite (one of the 50 sisters) was his wife! There aren't just sea nymphs though, but forest nymphs and other kinds as well! I remember there once was a nymph in the "Odyssey" who fell in love with Odysseus? Ah, I'm not sure, I don't remember. I also remember a mention of a goat nymph, I think. Lol sorry for the tangent, I just think they'd be a really interesting addition! Maybe they could have some sort of "castaway" system since Poseidon was the one to help us in the temple. If you save them, they give you a blessing/rare item, and if you try to harm them, they'll instead fight you. Honestly I'm just spewing ideas at this point! Love your content, btw 💞

And while I do understand that greek mythology did have a lot of underworld mythical beings and other bad mythical creatures alike, I wish we had more of the other elements of greek mythology such as the nymphs who protect the lands. Not everything in greek mythology was all powerful, yet they still held significance. I love the way you worded this; it describes it exactly!

Having a dragonslayer quest like the one in old school runescape would be really cool for a sidequest in Nimbus. Just imagine talking to an npc who asks you to sail to an island that has sank several of their ships, and finding a dragon that you have to kill, and could possibly get a quest exclusive item like the shell island banana

I actually understand vetex wanting it to stay a solo project. As a dev myself, I get alot more control over what gets added and how everything works down to the unnoticeable details. I'm not sure vetex's exact reason but I would rather vetex be able to develop the game in the way he wants over faster updates.

Vetex is already Working on a Dungeon like mechanic, In the roadmap section of the trello you can see that Xxael is working on sum sort of Tower Feature where maybe u go thru different floors fighting different enemies and bosses to get unique drops and other stuff ig. There is also going to be a Raid Mechanic that will be added in Fort Castrum (Also Mentioned in the same Trello page) Just go thru the list of additions, there are many interesting details there.

here me out: soul dragons 5-10 percent increase in vitality, adds a rite (if vitality build) called spirit breath which doesnt deal any base dmg but deals flame DOT and small lifesteal

I hope that the Dragonblood Ritual actually gives players stats increase according to their build. But, I have no idea if it relies on chances in order for you to successfully obtain one, or if the stats increase can stack up to a certain limit. I assume that the stronger the dragon, the more stats it will provide.

Dragons will not only be in the dark sea. The text below is text from the "Dragon Raids" trello card "A rare occurance in the regular sea where a dragon (or sometimes multiple) fly in from the Dark Sea and begin terrorizing ships and islands. It could be set up where its either 1 gigantic dragon, or up to 5 smaller ones, and they would fly around areas of the sea and have to be fought using your ship. They could swoop down near the water and try to crash into your ship, or fly overhead and breathe fire down across the sea. They could maybe be pre-set, named dragons which drop different things than the Dark Sea dragons do. When this event occurs, a message could appear in the chat alerting all players."

I'm not 100% sure but honestly i feel like the game is fucked the moment the whole 'kill dragon = stat buff' is implemented. You know why? Because all the top clans (and some smaller ones) are gonna have members solely for fucking over people trying to get these stat buffs (and I'm 100% sure that there will be clans made specifically to fuck people over). That and it honestly looks like vetex wants to make this game in minecraft hypixel skyblock or some shit. DO NOT ADD STAT BUFF FOR KILLING A BOSS. It works in games that have no pvp but in ao... congrats you just made the game a toxic shitshow. Either vetex makes it so the stat buff only stacks once (so the other dragons you kill won't give even more stats (and it should be so all dragons give the same stat buff (so no broken ass builds pop up))). And I feel like it would be best if the dragons would give stuff like energy recharge not armor stats. Trust me no one wants to go up against a mage with 4k hp and 100 power (so basically if the buff is stuff like defense or power make it small (but not too small to the point where it dosent make a difference)). I hope he really thinks this over 80 times and I don't care if the update is delayed by 8 months because doing that is a very risky addition (he said it himself in his rant a while ago (the one about the pvpers and blah blah blah)). If he makes it into a buggy mess and then whines that people abuse bugs (yeah no shit people will do that) then I honestly don't see a future for ao. I like the game don't get me wrong but it honestly seems like vetex is trying to add features that would work for a game that's 3 years old and has an insane amount of content into a game that's still just a storyline, dodge reflex quest and dark sea grind. Vetex should make more replayability for the game and focus on the actual storyline instead of adding stuff that's late game content (same thing with the empires update like the top clans are probably mostly just pvpers and if vetex himself dosen't like pvp the why add a feature related to pvpers?). I know that this is a lot of yap but I also feel like it is (even if not entirely) true.
