I could relate to your shoulder Brian, I had both of my shoulders dislocated, the left one was dislocated about 6+ times one year, but honestly I never gotten surgery for either one just because I was always told that most people who get it ( told by them) ended up having a bit more problems, or their shoulders didn’t feel the same, or their doctor messed it up more than they should, but I haven’t had any dislocations in over a couple of years

I feel ya on the shoulder thing. I messed my left shoulder up 10 years ago and it peridocially pops out still randomly, just as recent as the other day. Was told I need surgery but have never done it. I just pop it back in my self when it happens. Sucks but I don't want surgery lol

Ooof, I feel for ya Brian, My mum has dislocated/popped her shoulder out twice while on dog walks (Slipping on ice), she was in absolute agony with it, & had to go to the hospital to have it reset, she said it was the worst pain you could imagine, and she has had frozen shoulders in the past too, though that come's from working in a kitchen for over 30 years with heavy/pots & pans.

Definitely get the surgery. I had a torn labrum and very loose shoulder from laying baseball over the years and when they fixed the labrum with surgery they also tightened my shoulder to keep it in place so it wouldn’t slip as much and it’s helped a lot. And should be pretty quick recovery for the most part

I agree with Nogla, do it in Ireland. Even with insurance, you're looking at a big bill. I have to drop 2k because of emergency gallbladder surgery on top of 6k for a reduction. I could only imagine how much shoulder surgery would be here in the US. You're most likely able too save a few more grand.
