One of my annual "can't get enough" Terry Allen months seems to've just started, due to a text this morning from beloved niece Jessica, who sent a couple clips from his recent performance at the Paramount in Austin. When they made Terry Allen, they threw away the mold. That's why he's one of a kind.

Allen is a great songwriter in the long line of Texas tradition. He has also had art exhibits. For example, @Museum of Modern Art NYC (MOMA Director called Allen, one of the most important artists alive today). This cd, as mentioned, is superb! "Lubbock or leave it!"
