Worst shoto, I don't think he is the worst character, but he is close to bottom Resource hungry, he lack ken/ryu/akuma 5HP for whiff punish and high reward poking A rough measure, with Ryu I need 2~3 chances to end the game, with terry I need 4~6 chances to end the game

My favorite fighting game character feels too frustrating to play, and I dont like it. I'd rather wait for city of the wolves.

I relearned SF6 after not playing for a year just to learn Terry, got him to master and I'm only disappointed. In the current matchups he just feels like a shittier shoto with really nothing going for him except having higher than average damage. Why play this character when you could just play akuma/ken/ryu and be an actually good shoto. I'll be back to try out Mai but my expectations will be much lower seeing how Terry turned out

I have a questions though. How much better will you play with another character? Is it that noticeable in ranked? Like is your winrate noticeably lower with this character vs another? By how much? I understand tournament conditions, but for ranked? Is it that big a deal? Like I’ve seen players reach pretty much the same MR numbers they have with other characters and with similar winrate… to me that doesn’t sound like much of a difference especially if that person is enjoying the character.

​@@ismaeljrp1 If you really enjoy SF6 then it probably isn't an issue playing a low tier, but SF6s general mechanics and gameplay flow aren't for me really. Terrys issues are very apparent if you just compare him to Ken. Go into training room and practice whiff punishing with Terrys 2/5HP and then try whiff punishing characters with Kens 5HP. Terry needs to land a HP into dr to get good damage but the button is really ... lacking compared to other shotos. I havn't played the other shotos besides Ken but I'm sure akuma and ryus 5HP are much better overall as well. Terry DOES have really good 5mk and 2mk but comboing off 2mk means more scaling and 5mk only links into buster wolf on CH or punish and thats all you get off it.

His normals are awkward, and the GAME KEEPS DROPPING INPUTS. With how much he relies on links, not getting your button into power charge -8 death on block is nonsense.

I got to say bro. Lot of the viewers are not at your lvl so I think you should make videos about how to rank up in every rank bruh. I live in Tokyo and I watch your video because I personally think its entertaining but what I wanted to says was that if you provided content for master and above players the views might get low because not everyone is on that level. You can get a rookie to watch your feeds but they will never be able to skill up at the pace that is required. So my advice is take it easy and provide some tutorials on how to defend and offense with various ranks but if your goal is just to show and stream line your dominance then I think many get tired of watching. don't get me wront watching higher player lvl is crucial to getting better at the game but man people want to play the game and not just watch high players brag or rant.

Nah...his neutral sux, his anti-airs aren't that reliable, and his damage is mid. In a game with eaten inputs, he's a liability right now. He needs some adjustments badly.
