RIP Terry and his parents...my wife used to work at an elementary school called Terry Fox elementary and in the library they had a book about Terry Fox and on the inside was a dedication in blue pen from Terry's mother to that school and it had a little message in it I'm sure the book is still there it's only been a few years but it was quite nice for them to have visited the opening of the school and her signing that book. if you want a real hero to look up to, then there's no greater person than Terry Fox. he's a worldwide hero

I wish I could of saw Terry in his marathon of hope....seeing all the ppl running with him... he died the year before I was born, but Terry Fox is a genuine hero. he raised money for cancer research. my daughter was diagnosed with cancer in her brain and she had to have an 8 hour craniotomy and she had to do one year of chemo she's been in remission now for over 2 years... she's only 5 years old......in a very large way Terry Fox helped her and her fight with cancer! proof that what he set out to do in 1980-81 would help a little girl 39 years after his death... rest in peace Terry

Today, my children and I finished to read Terry Fox's biographie. I could not help my self for crying. What a marvelous young man! A true hero endeed!

terry you are a hero to the ppl that got cancer the ones that survived cancer there brave and terry you are so greatful for thoughs ppl that got cancer and you are very very very brave and my mom got cancer 2 times when she was 17 and she survived i ran 4 times around my school for you and my mom and everyone that got cancer and survived you are sooooooooooooooooooo greatful

I go to East Northumberland Secondary, and this is one of our proudest events that we do every year, raising almost 1 million dollars alone. Our Gym is dedicated to Terry by Betty. I just want to say ill be running tomorrow and raising money to stop cancer!
