Loved this. I grew up in Sandhurst, drank in Camberley, family on the old dean, bought my first stereo in Allders, picked up my first flyer in 4SPORTS camberley, lol. I'm 46 so when you were around i would have been one of the little shits lobbing fun snaps at you off the top of multi storey.

I remember going to a friends 6th birthday and we had a bit of lino in the garden and was break Dancing to win a present 😂 ... i went on to mc at an under 18,s disco id moved down from croydon to kent and Ashford and Folkstone always had beef and we used to settle it on the 🎤 on stage to the back drop of sugar bear , spent the next 30 Plus years in london raving ... still at it now 💙👌🙏 ... Fucking love this....growing up in east London and being heavily into music, I went to all of Terry's london parties back in the day... I have listened to the audio book and it took me way back to my youth... The funniest thing I remember was a sentence on the flyer "10 of our own friendly one nation security" 😂 they were far from friendly, all absolute units!! But, if you was only there to rave and not cause trouble, then the security were fine.... The club UN parties... well..... they needed goon security there. 😂

Nice one Terry, really enjoyed this one, I did start watching the live feed but got rudely interrupted, your bang on about the beer heads kicking off and the pills heads all loved up, thats what I loved about it, I could not believe how many people where at the event and not one sign of trouble. PMSL regards the Allegro my mate had a 5 door one, the most dirty brown colour you have ever seen, he was a bit of a hippy type, he did wash but never looked clean, trust me when he picked us up it was like getting into a skip, the front and rear footwells almost knee deep in random crap, once he had filled the ash tray, he used to just put um out on the dash and thats where they stayed, that little thing took us all up and down the country for 2 yrs.

Heard a funny story of you in Dj Vibes car (think it was an XR3i or Cosworth) going up the motorway chucking fireworks out the window! 😂Legend in the rave scene back then. EDIT: What you were saying about the bullying, it was truly brutal in some of the schools back then. You made a good point about not having your father around to teach you about these things and to encourage you to stand up for yourself. It's so important to have a father figure as a role model, especially for young boys.

I remember coming out and seeing the birds handing out the flyers and normally I managed to get one of the Terry turbo promotion see through bags with all the flyers in instead of having to get a flyer from each bird and later we'd spend hours reading every word on the flyer and looking at the art work and planning our next escapade . Phones were expensive bk then and the record shop and the flyers is how we found out everything we needed to know
