I discovered Fatal Fury 2 in the arcades when it came out in France when I was 17 in 1992, in high school. With some of my friends we managed to save some of our midday meal pocket money to put some coins in the machines and beat the crap out of each other with all the cast. Terry is a shoto in this since RT is a DP motion. He's always been Shoto-adjacent. Space-controlling projectile. Move that propels him forward. Reversal Move. Only thing keeping him from being a true shoto was the Charge motion on RT until I think KoF15 and CotW.

He's had a DP motion for Taco on and off throughout his appearances. 98 has it as DP for regular and charge for EX, for example. And in Garou, he doesn't even have Taco, using Power Dunk as his DP there.

I played garou today and, power dunk is not a DP, it looks like a DP, it has a DP motion, but that shit has zero invulnerability in the air, also RT was DP on KOF 96,97,98,
