I'm a roadie with stacks of gears who leaves the city and heads for the national park (forest) every weekend. Yet I love this kind of urban riding and racing where rules are left behind and physical ability blends with courage and confidence. So awesome. Amazing footage as always Terry.

You don't have the dynamic range of the camera (the first black levels are missing), maybe you import GoPro files (in YUVJ420 color PC) which have more values than the YUV420 color TV standard, for example if you import with davinci without unchecking the "limit black values" box, or other import error. If you read your rushes with VLC you make the same error, VLC not recognizing the YUVJ420 it deletes on play the first black values when they exist.

Question: I rode a fixie through college, so I get some of the traffic dodging - but the running red lights (I'm okay with too!) seems fast, is the traffic just one way and thus easy to track gaps? Seems like if it was coming from both ways someone would get hit, no? Granted my riding was in a smaller college town. I've only ever walked in SF.
