Farmer Al Falfa did have one more theatrical outing, ten years later in 1956. As for Heckle and Jeckle, this was their debut in their current design. They were still developing the characteristics of the duo. This was their second short. First after they were husband and wife in their debut.

This is 🐦 Heckle, 🐶 Dimwit and 🦅 Jeckle’s debut cartoon with their special guest ⭐️ star: Farmer 👨🌾 Al Flafa in this one. Also Farmer al made 2 cartoons after this one and both birds made a 🎥 🎞 series of adventures even Dimwit Dog gets his own series starting with “Flying Cups and Suacers”.

The first real H&J cartoon, even though Jeckle is called "Joe" and doesn't have the Brit accent yet, until the end when they both talk like English aristocrats.

Farmer Al Falfa reminds me of Popeye's father Pappy.
