So glad you are safe. I expect you are used to storms but like here, people tend to panic.

It always surprises me when people panic shop before a one day storm, same here🇺🇸🖐

Ireland's "one day storm" has left 300 000 homes and businesses without power. Then, we got the next named storm today. Thank goodness for "panic" or "prepared" buying!

I don't think you understand the severity of this storm that hit the UK.

Sorry didnot mean to offend anyone, at 89yrs, I have been hit with everything mother nature could throw my way, snow storms ice storms hail storms wind storms floods and days without power, I think the storms are getting bigger each year just a change in name

Grateful to know you & yours survived the storm. It is a shock, isn’t it, when you go to the store and entire shelves are cleared out. I remember that happening during Covid, and sometimes when we’ve had notice of bad weather coming. I know you said there were several things you couldn’t find, but it looks like you did pretty good overall. Hope your able to get some things during the week that you wanted. Take care! Love your channel. ❤️🌹

When I didn't see a shopping haul posted on Saturday I figured it was due to the storm. I'm very thankful you and yours are okay, Cheryl. Frankly I find panic buying, especially when it comes to perishables and frozen stuff to be rediculous because if you have an extended power outage all the perishable and frozen things will likely go bad before power is restored.

Hi Cheryl, hopefully you weathered the storm intact - it was an absolute blast 💨💨💨wasn’t it!😱 Thought my roof was coming off a few times 😰, but thankfully the house is structurally intact, minus a number of roof slates.🙄 My garden got a right hammering, so operation clear up has been ongoing much of today 👩🏻🌾, & it was absolutely chanking out there, lost the feeling in my hands with the cold wind 🌬️🥶, not quite finished, but rain stopped play for today. Hopefully you’ll manage to get the sold out supplies needed later in the week. Take care & about to watch your meals of the week. xx 👩🏻🍳🛒💕💞💖

So sorry to hear of your grocery shortages. We get them here in Australia too when threatened with really bad weather. Which is why I always buy 2 items if they're on special to ensure I always have a spare or two in the cupboard. It's getting to the point where I sometimes need a spare cupboard or two as well!! But better safe than sorry! Glad you are safe and well and here's hoping Spring isn't far away!

No problems here, we buy almost everything from the farmers in the neighborhood, milk-yogurt, meat/chicken meat, bread, vegetables-tomatoes-salad, eggs, potatoes-chips, bread, fruit and the rest we order via the internet and it is delivered to your home free of charge

Personally, peanut butter on toast with sliced banana is a favorite. If you want to make it Elvis style you add crispy bacon, dip it in sweet batter and fry it.

You did well Cheryl considering the shelves in the supermarket looked pretty sparse , I have a shopping call on a Thursday and last week was bit of a disaster , asked for 6 yoghuts , my breekie and got none , the previous week asked for 2 litres of whole milk and got 4 litres , nightmare 😮 , the previous week asked for 3 large Onken Yogurts , they were all dated for the next day , crazy 😮 all had to go back , the one thing I really miss being housebound , is able to do my own shopping , I get so frustrated with the whole system , but have no other choice , so seeing your shopping videos cheers me up enormously , glad you escaped the worst of the storm , just hope my caravan is still standing in S.W. Scotland 😊❤😊❤😊

Panic buying causes so much difficulty! Does single cream whip up well? Not sure what the cream we get here is New Zealand is classified as, but we use it for whipped cream for Pavlovas, etc.

i know this is a bit off-topic, but i couldn’t keep this to myself. i kept seeing people rave about Vibrations of Manifestation by alex lane in the comments of so many videos, and even some of my friends mentioned it. i decided to give it a shot, and it’s been a game-changer. i’m finally seeing things fall into place-career, relationships, even my confidence. if you’ve been stuck, this book might be exactly what you need

not related to the video at all, but i had to tell y’all about this. i kept seeing Vibrations of Manifestation by alex lane mentioned everywhere-in youtube comments, even random convos with friends. i caved and read it, and wow. within two weeks, i started seeing my dream life come together. it’s not about wishful thinking-it actually teaches you how to align your energy to make it happen.

this has nothing to do with the video, but i’ve been seeing comments about this book for weeks, and i couldn’t ignore it anymore. Vibrations of Manifestation by alex lane was hard to track down, but it’s honestly the best decision i’ve made. it’s crazy how fast things changed for me-two weeks after reading it, i landed the opportunity i’d been waiting for and started feeling more in control of my life. i just had to tell someone about it
