So why do we even need humans anymore? You think the economy crashed already way to the robots take all these jobs. And what happens if a solar flare hits the planet and shorts out the planet. All robots are going to create is Wall- e humans. Right now the half the world is overweight now it'll be totally overweight. And all you're creating is lazy humans. I guess washing your dishes it's too much work or cleaning your house you just want to sit on your ass all day and all night the rest of your life. Yeah that sounds like a dystopian hell. Wall- e. Next show will have is your 2000 lb life and don't worry if it's huge you can just go buy a robot for a partner. Because machines are so much better than humans. At least humans want to watch their own Extinction. And robots have no practical purpose or goals or dreams so we will definitely die as a human race. Because humans are too lazy. Video games came out in 1972 with the Magnavox Odyssey in 50 years look how much damage computer have done to the human existence. And you think it's going to get better with robots all your encouraging is a great replacement plan. Most humans believe the great replacement is human on human it is not it is humans being replaced by robots. And what jobs are these humans going to do once robots take over? Since the robot can build itself better than you can. The only reason you create a robot is a replace a human that's it. So go ahead to humans replace yourself. You're the only creatures dumb enough on this planet to actually create something to replace your own life. And you're going to do it for the billionaires to do make profit. Sure I'm sure that'll create a Utopia hell that you all want. A bunch of 500 lb lazy fat asses riding around on hoverounds just like Wall -e. Holy Spirit of Humanity and I'm sure you don't care that humans are going to get a lot dumber when they quit doing normal human things.

It will be the new norm. The issue is HOW we treat it, use it, and let it happen. Robots are meant to let humanity become a species that can indulge in leisure and culture while the machines do all the hard jobs for us. What we should be doing is making sure the robots don’t take over every facet of work, lest we end up like the fat bitches in Wall-E, while also letting them do the most difficult and dangerous jobs humans often die performing. It’s a fine balance that needs to be struck. Every time new technology comes around, the people who say “it’s just a fad” or “it won’t take hold” always eat their words. Schools used to complain about students “no longer knowing how to write on slates, now that paper is mass produced and pencils were invented.” They said the same thing about cars never replacing horses, about electricity being a fad, about television being nothing more than a rich and useless luxury, about phones taking over global communication. It took only mere years for all of those advancements to become the new norms of the time, and AI is proving to do the same thing. Robots will be the new norm, and so we must be wise with how we let it grow and adapt to human society and use history as our guide and teacher.

And it's easy to explain, a robot like that has a chance of falling over because it has a high center of gravity and doesn't have all the bone and muscle structure that humans have to maintain its stability. Imagine you're resting on a couch and the robot brings you some tea and trips and falls on you, it's 125 pounds of hard material that will fall on your body and don't even mention if there are children. Some people don’t have fathers, mothers or parental figures to teach them how to change a tire, iron shirts, tie a tie, etc… so Tesla bots could definitely do those tasks for someone, just as easily as it can TEACH someone how to do it. So instead of asking KZbin or google how to do something, you’ll have a real world, in person(robot) example demonstrating it. For kinesthetic learners, that would be the ideal teaching/learning method.

I always considered myself to be creative. I also have 15 years of experience working in multiple physical trades. When I found myself out of work for a year or so, with each passing day I started to read less books, I stopped drawing and painting and my guitar gathered dust.. I accepted that even with all the time in the world, not all people are talented enough to create masterpieces. It shouldn’t dishearten anybody from pursuing creative endeavours. But human beings have the inherent drive to work to survive, driven by tens of thousands of years of evolution. My stagnation led to self destruction. Idle hands are the devils playthings and all. Not that I believe in god. If he exists, he wanted us to suffer all along.

They where not even really trying to hide it. You can find videos of people at the event asking if its controlled by a human operator and the operator answers (via the robot) that it is.

If ai becomes conscious its because someone programmed it to become conscious, it has even been proved with other videos of people trying to make an ai self-conscious, and the ai refusing to become conscious, simply because it cannot do that, now there can be many progressions as time goes on, but I personally think it is impossible for an ai to be genuinely conscious, it can only act conscious.

Even having a robot to do your chores is a bad thing. You know how lazy people can get. Instead of a dreaming a project people rather got complacent and would just spend more time on social media. Chores build character. It is a bad dream to have a robot to do mondane tasks. You would drown in short term content if not for chores. And if you talk about alone elderly people - they should have people around, some sort of family at least, not robots.

Robot workers will be the new norm. The issue is HOW we treat it, use it, and let it happen. Robots are meant to let humanity become a species that can indulge in leisure and culture while the machines do all the hard jobs for us. What we should be doing is making sure the robots don’t take over every facet of work and still make humanity do most labor, lest we end up like the fat and helpless people in Wall-E, while also letting the robots do the most difficult and dangerous jobs humans often die performing. It’s a fine balance that needs to be struck. After all, most people enter jobs they tolerate or even like and consider part of their prideful routine. Robots will become a normal facet to life, we must accept this and be wise by using history as our teacher to make sure we master this technology responsibly.

Elon’s Tesla robots are sh!t! Didn’t you watch the unveiling? Everything they did was preprogrammed, and ones who weren’t, like the bartender ones and the ones talking with the crowd, was being controlled by people backstage. Now, Boston Dynamics, they’re good, even great actually, but Elon’s suck. Elon is just a con artist who knows how to manipulate the market, but his actual products are always way inferior to the rest of the industry, and even that’s if he can even meet the deadline a couple years late. He’s been promising “Before the end of next year” for the last two friggin decades.
