Hi. Just ordered our first EV Tesla Model Y performance. Very informative video. Thank you for the links. I do have a question. Does the PPF leave a line? Since you only did the front? I'm trying to convince the hubby to do that instead of the ceramic. Do you get protection from just the PPF enough without needing to get the ceramic coating? Keep up the great work .

Thanks for watching Sharon! No, you don’t see a line or anything when you get PPF. You can’t even tell it’s there. Ceramic coating is like a wax, except better and lasts years instead of months like traditional wax on a car. PPF is a physical film that goes on the car that is the ultimate protection. That will totally protect your car from rock chips and make it easier to clean as well. Removing dirt, road grime and bugs will be a breeze. Ceramic coat would go on over the PPF if you wanted to. But, for the best protection, PPF is the way to go. If you’re not concerned about rock chips and stuff like that, no PPF is needed. Here’s a video of my car getting the PPF put on. I also interviewed the guy at the shop.
